On The Rocks Cabin-Hot Tub & Pet Friendly

On The Rocks is part of the Chalets at the Lake rental properties, and is an entire space dedicated to each individual guests. Although there are neighboring chalets, On The Rocks offers plenty of privacy and individual comfort.

Located on 20 acres of semi secluded West Virginia wilderness. This distinctive A-frame cabin in the chalet style is perfect for the wooded environment of the Gauley River National Recreation Area. On The Rocks includes a private deck, sleeping loft, master bedroom, full bathroom, living room, full kitchen and dinette area. Free WiFi, smart TV, gas heat, air-conditioning, gas grill, outdoor fire ring, outdoor chairs, picnic table, and 5 person hot tub also included.

With a short drive, our guests can enjoy a multitude of outdoor recreation; including the New River George National Park.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This rental was in the perfect location, and we so appreciated its charm! Our hosts were very responsive to our request to purchase firewood and overall very communicative. The cabin itself was clean and had everything we needed, not to mention the cute decor. Would stay here again!

Very comfortable accommodations close to lot of activities on the New River Gorge and the Gauley. Property managers very nice, accommodating, and keep the place very well run and comfortable.

Girl’s Get Away

Cabin was clean and comfortable! Beds were comfortable and smelled nice. We loved the hot tub after a long day kayaking on the lake. Shower had hot water and good water pressure. Owners were immediately available when we accidentally locked ourselves out.

Gauley season

Nice peaceful, convenient location, with rustic surroundings. The only issue we had was trying to light the gas fireplace as there were no instructions. We really would like to see the space between the bedroom and bathroom ceilings closed in for better privacy, especially with 5 people who all get up during the night!

A place to crash on our way home from vacation with our dogs

We arrived late afternoon, having drove all day we were looking forward to relaxing and fixing a bite to eat. This place was fine, it served us well. I'm not gonna lie the rain hitting the roof was the perfect put me to sleep. Thanks!

WONDERFUL PLACE

Once we arrived and opened the door to our cabin we were greeted with a FRESH, recently cleaned, spacious but cozy & comfortable cabin. It was spotless! The hot tub was amazing as well. Keyless entry, easy access wifi, roomy loft and huge 2nd bedroom that opened onto the back deck with the hot tub. This completely exceeded our expectations & I highly recommend staying here & will most likely book this again in the future. VERY HAPPY with our stay!
