Stay with us anytime during January-March and save! Hidden Gem Cabins welcomes you to the Adventurer (Cabin 1). This cozy cabin is just 7.5 miles from Summersville Lake and Battlerun Campground, 30 minutes from the New River Gorge National Park and only 13 miles from the town of Summersville where you can find several grocery stores and restaurants. Don’t feel like adventuring too far? The Drennen Dairy Bar, gas station and convenience store is less than a mile away!

Because we are centrally located, you’ll find our cabins are a great base camp for all of your outdoor activities - boating, swimming, kayaking, fishing, rafting, hiking, mountain biking, exploring our National and State parks, zip lining, ATV riding, scenic drives, birdwatching, rock climbing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter or just relaxing in the beautiful mountains of almost heaven, West Virginia! You’ll find your passion here!

Welcome to a brand new, comfortable cabin and peaceful retreat. Perfect for two people! Located alongside a babbling brook that can be heard while relaxing on your back porch or around the backyard firepit, our 4 cabins are located in a quiet, wooded area. No pets.

You will be renting the Adventurer (Cabin 1), which is a cozy studio cabin that sleeps two people in a comfortable pillow top queen size bed. The space has one full size bathroom with a shower and a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, toaster, griddle, drip coffee maker, and a microwave. There is a propane gas grill out back of your cabin as well as a fire pit to enjoy with complimentary firewood and we invite you to relax in front of the Roku Smart TV or on your private back porch. Sip your morning coffee as you take in the beautiful scenery around you and enjoy visits from the friendly deer and rabbits that live on the property. All linens and towels provided, along with a starter supply of toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. Ice cold air conditioner, cozy heat and Wi-Fi Internet included. And no need to take dirty clothes home with you...there is a coin-operated laundromat on the premises. Our cabins DO NOT ALLOW PETS or emotional support animals.

Parking is available right outside your cabin with plenty of room for your boat or trailer. You’ll love coming back to this cozy cabin after a day in the wild and wonderful great outdoors of West Virginia!

The studio style cabin was perfect. Neat, clean and well designed. We stayed in the Adventure cabin while visiting Charleston and also going to Elk River Rail Bike. Christina is an excellent host. Received detailed check in, directions, Internet and check out info prior to our departure. Would definitely stay at Cozy Cabins again.

Enjoyed our stay immensely. Super quiet and relaxing experience. Everything inside was new and very clean. Owner was also very quick to respond when we needed firewood after we noticed the wood shed was empty upon our arrival.

Cozy cabin in woods

We spent a few days at one of four little cabins on the same property. The place is very clean and neat, and comfy for 2 people. Summerville lake/reservoir, several great state parks and recreational areas are not far to hike in the woods or to relax on the beach. Perfect place for nature lovers to enjoy the outdoors in WV. We would come back and highly recommend it.

Fall in the Gorge

This property was perfect for our 5 day stay in the Gorge. Close to Summersville Lake and an easy drive to the National Park area. The property owners were close by for any questions and gave us great tips about local areas of interest that made our trip the best! Only one small issue during our stay when the bathroom lights wouldn’t come on but the property owner was there within ten minutes at the most and had it fixed right away. Super nice guy! The shower was awesome after a long day of hiking and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely book this property again for our next visit!

This cabin was perfect for two and nice and quiet! Very clean, the grill in the back was nice, we grilled out and sat on the back porch and just enjoyed the quiet. The owner was very responsive with any questions that I had. Will definitely be back again!

Right near a main road

Unfortunately this property is not relaxing because it's right beside a main road. The log trucks started zooming by at about 5am every morning. Also, the hot water wasn't great.
