Historic Frank Lloyd Wright home available for private stay
10/10 Excellent
"This isn't the usual vacation rental. If you have any interest in architecture getting to stay in an authentic Frank Lloyd Wright home is kinda like sleeping in a museum, one you could actually live in.The architecture makes for an interesting enviornment. There are details to be noticed. Its clear someone imagined the space. The floor to ceiling windows open up the house to the world. The horizontal lines and open floor plan create a sense of flow and harmony that modern homes try to emulate but rarely achieve. We spent some time discovering hidden built-ins, admiring the usability of layout, and marveling at how well the structure fits into its surroundings. The integration with the external enviornment is amazing, large windows and walkout terraces blur the line between indoors and out. Both bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, with that characteristic Wright attention to human scale. Yes, some doorways are lower than modern standards but this only adds to the authenticity and charm. The owners have maintained this treasure with obvious love and respect. Everything is how I imagine Frank left it. They are excellent hosts, the level of customer service we were provided was exceptional. I would love to stay here again! "
"Overall, it is a nice stay in Philly.
At first, it is a little hard to contact the staff, but in the afternoon, the staff contact me from another number. I think they should change the phone number in automatic message after booking ( I called the number a couple of times, no one reply, but new number has a good connection!).
Then, the hotel is very clean, more than expected.
Bathroom is a little small, but that's fine.
The property needs some deposit (~200). And I got refund one day after checking out. That's great!
In all, I think it is an affordable place to stay near UPenn. "
A touch of Heaven ☀️Elegant and Cozy Home near Saint Joseph University With AC

"Very pleasant stay and very accommodating host. Property looked just like in the pictures. Quiet property and friedly neighborhood. Street parking but there was always a spot right by the house. Our dog was with us and enjoyed his stay too! Our host was very responsive to our questions. Check in was easy! We'll definitely consider staying here again when back in Philly!"
"We absolutely love it here!!! I can’t thank Portia enough for providing us with everything we needed for our stay! Bonus points for being pet friendly! Perfect location to explore and 2 WAWA stores within walking distance! Can’t wait to visit again! -Alyssa from Texas!"
"Nice play to stay! Parking was available on the street right out front, my suite was comfortable and clean, and I was the person helping me online was very attentive and kind. "
Charming 2-bedroom apartment with AC, WiFi in enjoyable Primos
10/10 Excellent
"This was exactly as pictured. Relatively spacious, comfortable and cozy apartment. Top floor allowed for lots of natural light. Neighborhood seems perfectly safe - there's an elementary school across the street where I took a morning walk and felt safe as a middle aged woman walking alone. Bedding and towels would benefit from an upgrade as they were a bit worn. But host was proactively communicative, had a simple self check-in procedure, and made everything comfortable and easy for us as guests. Be sure to drive past the named street address upon entry and enter in the next alleyway beyond and look for the marked numbered garage number and park there. Then you have to scurry up the grassy hill to wrap around to the front entrance to the apartment. That area could use some lighting to help you find your way at night. Overall a positive stay and would stay there again when in Philly. Thanks!"
