"Staff at this hotel is simply outstanding in every aspect which made this stay even more enjoyable. Location is superb, food is beyond delicious and views are stunning! I’ve been to 100s of different hotels but hardly any are as enjoyable as this. Highly recommend! "
"Nice breakfast, wonderful staff. The 3rd floor room is in the roof with slanted walls. Would recommend not booking this room if you are tall since it is cumbersome to get in and out of the area where the bed is located. The same concern exists for the bathroom in the 3rd floor."

"I always take reviews with a grain of salt but Villa Cardak lived up to the hype and was more than we expected. Susanna and her husband Neja are the consummate hosts! They not only parked pour car for us but greeted us with a refreshing lemonade and Turkish delight. The location is the best you could ask for in Mostar...you are literally a stone's throw from everything you would want to see. The room and bathroom were large, clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the courtyard. I cannot say enough good things about this place. If only every place was this perfect!"
"Modern rooms, clean hotel, we did have a couple small issues which could not be fixed so our room was changed for another one. Great views would highly recommend "
"The woman at the front desk was very knowledgable and able to answer all our questions about the city as well as our on-going travel plans. Breakfast was delicious and, again, the staff was very professional and everything was exceptionally clean. The location is a minute's walk from the heart of the city. This place is perfect!"
"Perfect location for walking through the old town area. We felt very safe…no issues. Room was large and spacious for our family of 4. Very clean. Nice balcony/patio area. The breakfast was epic…absolutely a highlight with a range of food for everyone with traditional coffee, pancakes, omelettes, meat, fruit, cheese, breads…my boys still talk about it when people ask about our holiday!!! ;-) staff were all lovely."
"Such a nice hotel almost hidden out of sight.
Very well located in Mostar as its in the centre.
Room was great and very clean alongside having some nice traditional charm.
Staff were very helpful and will carry stuff to your door for you.
There are a few options for parking, in the street or a public car park just behind. This is about €15 a day but you need to pay in local currency. The hotel desk will happily change the money for you.

"We ended up taking a train early in the morning, the staff was kind enough to let us check in early. Phenomenal, customer service from the staff upfront.
Mind you this is a no alcohol place to stay. Regardless of that, we had a fabulous time and hope to stay here again when we come back to Mostar"
Villa Basic Blagaj with Amazing View on the River, super close to Mostar

"The property is great and a perfect location for us going from Dubrovnik to Sarajevo, with a desire to stop in Mostar. It backs to a river and has a nice balcony to enjoy the scenery. Kids loved watching the mountain goats. Mostar is very close and a lovely stop. The hosts were also terrific. The father of the owner came to meet us on arrival, helped us park our car in the driveway, and get settled. The only regret is we only stayed for one night - and in hindsight, should have planned to stay a little longer to enjoy. "
