Omni Shoreham Hotel Washington DC

"Omni Shoreham is 897 rooms that are well appointed, clean and relatively spacious except for the bathrooms. The lobby is huge and both the bar off the lobby and the restaurant in the lower back area accommodate the guests of this 897 room behemoth. The location is excellent and well within walking range of Adams/Morgan which takes you past many dining options. We were upgraded upon check-in and never had to wait for an elevator despite being full. Ride shares are fast and simple pick up with dedicated spaces. Would stay there again!"

"Room was clean, hotel in a convenient location right next to the metro and bus stops and the staff was super friendly. Small mixup getting a room when I arrived (at 2am), but the receptionist got it cleared up and I was very grateful. Great location, and good for solo travelers"

"The location to the main areas of attraction and the metro was excellent. The desk staff and housekeepers were efficient, polite, and professional. We arrived early, but there was a room available, so we were able to settle in at that time. We booked a king bed without kitchen; we got a double queen with kitchen. That was fine with us. The room was a bit outdated but clean; the shower had some mold but not a deal breaker. The room was located near the front desk, elevator, and stairs, so it was a bit noisy at times, however, we were out most of the day. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant one night and the food was delicious. There aren’t many dine-in restaurants within a half mile walk of the hotel. Circa, near the Foggy Bottom metro, was excellent. We would stay the hotel again."

"The Darcy is nice enough, but the bathrooms and hallways are quite small and the mattresses (I was in room 438) are a bit saggy and overly soft. I will probably try another place next time. But the location and staff are very good."
