Had an amazingly peaceful stay. Spent evenings enjoying local wines by the campfire appreciating the outdoors and the pond. So relaxing that my wife and I didn't argue once.
This place was alsome quite clean peaceful everything you needed just like home besides the tv lol . My wife and i will return next year thanks for a nice 36 year anniversary getaway!
Very clean and peaceful property. really enjoyed fishing the pond and the campfire. the kids had plenty room to play volleyball and enjoyed hiking the trails and the paddleboat. inside was very nice, clean, and cozy. would definitely stay again and have recommended to others.
The property is amazing! The cabin, inside and out, were very clean and well stocked with all the amenities you would need. Bring a fishing rod and fish the pond! We caught a number of blue gill and bass. The homemade bread and Amish peanut butter were a nice treat. We would definitely stay here again!
We had stayed here once before and loved the cottage on the lake! It has even gotten better with time as they added a dock for the small boats on site and added several amenities inside such as body wash, shampoo and conditioner and even a hand held blow dryer for the ladies!
Place was immaculate as it was the first time!
It is a true value and a hidden gem in the area.
We plan to come back again soon!
We very much our stay in the idyllic fall setting by the pond. Our two teen boys fished from dawn to dusk and I enjoyed peaceful hikes. My husband, a wildlife photographer (contributing photographer to Field and Stream, Outdoor Life, etc) was working in the area and it was the perfect place to work out of. The wifi was fast and reliable and the beds were very comfortable.
Our stay at Morning Mist exceeded expectations! There were so many little details that made us feel welcome. I won't list them here because it made for a lovely little surprise! Close enough to town that there was plenty to do but far enough away that it was easy to relax! Ten out of ten for sure
We really enjoyed our stay, cabin is clean, cozy, and equipped with everything basic you need. One of the nicest cabins we have stayed at. Fishing was great! Caught some nice BIG bass. We are already planning another trip here for the fall this year.
The complementary Amish peanutbutter and homemade bread is delicious! Thank you!

Overall excellent property. Wonderful country getaway in Amish country. It was stocked with everything you need including fire wood. The refrigerator is very small but fine, no freezer. Did have some issues with house flys but the owner dropped off spray and traps.
This new cabin was an awesome place to stay. It had all the amenities needed and was clean and cozy. The lack of a TV was not an issue. It gave us more of a chance to talk and play games. Although it was too cold for a fire or a chance to use the pond, everything was very inviting. We plan on coming back!!
Property was AWESOME!
Lake front hits you as you drive up the road! Porch and firepit are striking but inside was immaculate and very well appointed!
The fresh Amish bread and peanut butter were a great treat upon arrival.
We used the firepit one night and everything you needed was provided!
Nothing was missing in the kitchen or bath to make us feel we needed anything.
We hope to return in the spring!
GREAT HOSTS!
Though we never met our host we were kept in constant contact about our stay and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. The home was very clean and we really enjoyed the campfire and provided firewood. Tried fishing but even though we saw fish they weren't biting the days we were there. Very comfortable bed and the home was equipped with nearly everything you'd need for your stay. Refrigerator was tiny, so don't bring a lot of refrigerated food.
The view driving up to the cabin and the view from the cabin was absolutely breathtaking. The cabin was beautiful and offered many more amenities than we'd find at a hotel. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the porch, watching the horses grazing and trotting in the nearby field, fishing, cornhole, s'mores by the campfire, walking the short trail behind the cabin, and eating the homemade peanut butter and Amish bread gifted to us by the host, with whom communication was excellent from start to finish. My husband and I were so blown away by this property, the views, and the relaxing atmosphere, that we're already planning our return! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!
This property was perfect for my family during a trip to Canton Football Hall of Fame. It is offers great family memories. The owners thought of everything, from the 2 boats for the fishing pond, fishing polls and tackle provided, wood for the fire, Amish Bread and Amish Peanut butter was Amazing!! My boys fished for 8 hours one day. They were in Heaven. There is a coffee maker and coffee provided. They even left a cooler for us to leave. The only thing they did not have is a freezer. Overall this was one of the best VRBO’s we have ever stayed in. We will absolutely be back!!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Less than expected
Clean cabin. Bed upstairs was too short for an adult. No Wi-Fi reception made it difficult to communicate. Also thought it was a full fridge and freezer. Just a tiny fridge. Didn’t realize no tv until the welcome message. Pond was nice but very shallow with lots of trees in it so fishing limited
Misty Morning Cabin was top notch!! We enjoyed everything!! It's a very beautiful and rekaxing place. I'll be sure to mention how wonderful this place is to family and friends
We loved our stay! The location was peaceful, the pond was great for fishing, the bed was comfortable, and the welcome treat of homemade bread and peanut butter were delicious. We cannot wait to come back.
Our stay here was great. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and decorated beautifully. The location was great. You were far enough to be in the country but close enough to hit all the major shops and attractions easily. The fishing in the pond kept our kids busy during any down time. We will definitely be back and greatly enjoyed our stay.
