"We spent a long airport layover at this hotel, so that we could relax and rest. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable, although we did find the shower floor to be quite slippery when wet. The meal we had in the restaurant was good and everything was very fresh. Our only disappointment was that the massage treatments I had scheduled via a chat on the hotel website, during which I was assured our appointment was confirmed, were not in fact scheduled and no one was even available in the spa area. We would definitely stay here again, especially in the case of an early flight, since the proximity to the airport is very good."

"The staff at the front desk and restaurant as well as the porters were all very friendly and helpful. We found our room to be spacious, clean, and comfortable. The swimming pool was wonderful and offered a truly beautiful view of the city. If we find ourselves back in Makassar, we would stay here again. The food from the restaurant was just so-so, but it is available 24 hours, which is convenient if you need it. The only negative was the hotel shuttle driver who met us at the airport, as he wasn't very friendly, never introduced himself, had two boys at the airport help with the bags and then signaled that we needed to pay them, and only smiled when we tipped him, which we felt we had to do rather than wanted to do. As a woman, had I been alone in the car with him, I would not have felt comfortable. "

"The Hotel is amazing. The rooms are great and you have a nice rooftop bar. Also the pool was nice and the location is perfect in the middle of the city of Makassar. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful. From the hotel you can easily take a boat trip to Samalona Island. It takes only 25 min. I would definitely recommend Swiss-bel Hotel when you are going to visit Makassar."

"the checkin was super easy and smooth.. front desk clerk came and opened the door upon arrival, big smile on his face and from then on i had a new friend in Makassar.. any questions i just asked him and not only did he answer them but would tell me better way or place than what i was thinking.. the food in the restaurant as well as the service was perfect.Coto Makassar huge sreving and just ENAK.. "Terrible service at the front desk, seems like they don't really care about what you say or do not want to engage much. Question about the lounge on the 12th floor was ask and the front desk staff did not want to answer and ask us to go upstair to find out on our own . "
