I had internationally traveled and was under the impression that my room would atleast come with a refridgerator and microwave. I had purchased the most expensive room available and it did not come with these things. Because my budget was tight and i could not afford the restaurant daily, I actually lost 5 pounds during my stay and didnt eat very well . I was unable to cook like I had hoped to and also keep anything needed to be kept cold. That aside the trip otherwise was seemless, except the washing machine experience was iffy. The staff was nice and although listed as a bilingual facility they are not entirely. But they do try to help if you don't know german . Overall for staying in a country i've never stayed in before I was happy to be in a safe, quiet and otherwise had an exceptional experience. My cousin in the area treated me to a meal at the restaurant in the hotel and it was good. Thank you DoblerGreen for the experience. I just wish i had a refrigerator and a way to feed myself better then only room temperature prepackaged food without purchasing from the restaurant.

We just needed a bed for the night passing through and it was made up for one person. Arrived 6pm Monday evening and the restaurant was closed. Staff were great and soon sorted the room, could have provided a toastie and gave directions to a restaurant 5 minutes away

room was very small/ when suitcase on the floor no room for movement. bathroom small as well. bathroom venta stuck with dirt. room wasnt cleaned though we booked for 2 nights. water bottle- compliment of the hotel, on entry- was- empty. will never come back!

We stayed for two nights, the room was OK,but regretfully the room was not cleaned after the first night!!!! When we checked out after the seconde night and complained, we were told that we should have asked for the room to be cleaned???? Very basic hotel.

On our way back from Italy this hotel is a perfect stop off.Super powerful shower,very clean rooms and a big bonus is hot beverage making facilities in the room.Fantastic buffet breakfast plus underground car park

Nice hotel outside of Stuttgart
The room was very confortable and quiet. It's not that close to Stuttgart, but we had a car so everything was perfect. Very good breakfast as well.

It was convenient to visit family, walking into Gerlingen and we felt like friends with the entire staff after spending eleven days with them. The daily breakfast offerings were great and plentiful. We enjoyed seeing the sunsets from the bar area and “teaching” the staff to make Bloody Mary cocktails. 😍 The only thing that was upsetting was the constant/daily noise from remodeling. It was disturbing in the awaking time in the morning and when we wanted to take rests in the afternoon. Hopefully they will get it all completed soon. If we get the chance to return to the Stuttgart area again, we will be glad to return to DoblerGreen Hotel.

Great value ,just need's Tesla destination charger
Good to have underground car park, Fabian on reception was excellent. Nice little touches like tea making facilities in your room and coffee to go in the lobby.

Hotel exceeded our expectations
Having read the rather mixed reviews of the hotel, we weren't sure what to expect, but the hotel was a fantastic choice and it far exceeded our expectations. They upgraded our room without us even asking and our room was huge and had a useful kitchen with fridge. We visited in the middle of the heat wave so I asked if we could have a fan in our room and the housekeeping staff provided TWO fans which made sleeping quite comfortable. Thank you to the housekeeping staff for the two fans as they made such a difference! The room and hotel were clean. There is free secure underground parking and the breakfast is fantastic with a very good range of choice. There is also an excellent authentic Italian restaurant attached to the hotel (which is closed on Sundays however) which serves the best pizza (baked in a wood fired oven) at such a reasonable price. The pizzas were amazing! Overall, we couldn't fault the hotel and we would happily stay there again. There is also a very pleasant sitting out area with bean-bag chairs and tables. Sadly for us though, there were always smokers out there so we didn't use the area often. It would be nice to have at least half of the area as a NON -smoking area.

Poor service and not the best experience.
We stayed here for one night only passing down through to Bulgaria. The restaurant was dark with some dim fancy lighting but the staff didn't bother to serve us, We will not stay here again and will not recommend it to anyone either. The info said there was a safe but could not find one for love nor money even after asking at reception who assured us there was one but could not find it wherev they said.

Great hotel for tourist or professionals. Well equipped and comfortable rooms. Staff was helpful for my requests. Attached restaurant is good so you can always rely on a good dinner at the end of the day if you do not want to drive around.

Room looks fairly new, and it was comfortable enough to stay. The breakfast was free and tasty, I had no complaint wahtsoever on that. It is very hard to complain about this hotel.

We stayed at DoblerGreen Hotel for 2 nights. It's a bit out of the way from Stuttgart but accessible by car and there is a tram about 10 mins away. Quite area. Anyway it was busy when we arrived (around 11pm) as the receptionist was also the barman. Nevertheless we were attended to after about 10 mins. Room was clean. Wifi was a good strong signal. Breakfast was ok - the usual cold German continental selection. No hot except for boiled or scrambled eggs. There was free underground parking although the first night it was almost full due to a conference at the hotel I believe. The 2nd night was much quieter with more parking. Nearby free parking is available if needed around the hotel. One gym was available on the ground floor which was functional and equipment was fairly modern. Overall a pleasant stay at the hotel.

The hotel is only 5 minutes drive from the motorway going yo Stuttgart airport. There is a lot of parking both inside and out. We had a good meal inthe hotels italian restaurant.

A place to sleep
Due to family affairs I stayed a couple of days. It was conveniently located for me close to my family's place and close (5 min walk) to public transportation. Location is not especially nice but safe. The room size was sufficient, the bed firm but comfy, secure WiFi worked flawlessly (I did not use the flatscreen TV). There was even a small kitchenette with stove, microwave, fridge and mini dishwasher. Unfortunately there was not a single cup/plate/pot/fork/spoon/knife in the closet to use it. The bathroom was small, shower worked well. Hand soap and shower gel were provided. For international travelers: you need an adapter to use the power outlets (f.i. shaver, laptop). There is central heating but do not expect air conditioning. The room received enough sun to heat up during the day but you could leave the window open to cool off during the night. A few things could improve the experience: one of the halogen lights in the bathroom was broken and was never replaced, there was no light at bedside, the deposit box operated only with a special key which was not available, in the closet under the TV was an empty beer bottle which was never removed, the vending machine in the stairwell was almost empty and never restocked, at checkout first it was not recognized that the room was already prepaid but then it was easily corrected.

Great start to my stay and then...
I checked into this hotel very quickly late. Room was spacious and seemed quite nice. I went straight to bed, which was very nice and great sleep with nice pillows on the firm side, which I prefer. Reception staff was also very nice. Breakfast buffet is basic. Not much hot food besides scrambled eggs, but that was fine. My initial feedback on arrival was positive. However, a few aspects made the experience more lackluster, unfortunately. First, a week before, I had inquired by email whether they had a fitness room for guests to use. No answer. Upon checking in, I asked about this again, and I was told there were two. I decided to get up 1 hour earlier to go work out the following day...only to find out that the two fitness rooms on site...were both closed for repair. I was told that they would be available later that day, but that was not the case. I pick my hotel rooms based on gym availability, so it matters to me. So, I went back to my room and stretched then instead...just to see pieces of crumbled paper underneath the bed, indicating that the room was not as clean as one may think. Disappointing! Also, be aware! Bottle of water in room with no price list. But there is a 2 Euro. Not much, but it's the principle. Then, on checkout, had to wait from 6:44a till 7:06a. Seemed a bit overdrawn when you are on a tight schedule. Made my train with less than 5 secs to spare without valid ticket. Not bad, but unfortunately, too uneven and too much of a risk when on business.

Reasonable price for a business trip stay
Fairly easy to find, better value than many around Stuttgart. Easy commute to Ditzingen, Weilimdorf or Zuffenhausen where there are many industrial estates and expensive hotels. Staff are helpful and friendly, but the restaurant is a bit limited - although it has improved a lot since the 2014-15 reviews.

i stayed in this hotel for several nights, the area has nothing to offer and far from anything, but it was close to the business we were visiting. the person next to me was very noisy even at 24:00, the night staff were no help at all and also day staff, i asked to change rooms but it was not acceptable to them, when all i wanted was a normal night sleep. the wifi is bad. breakfast okay, hotel has parking.

I didn't think this was a great place to stay. The rooms were clean, but they smelled stale like my old dorm room in college. To be fair, I didn't expect this place to be great but I stayed here because the Mercure down the street was busy and there wasn't any other place nearby on hotels.com. The Mercure is much nicer. Probably next time I would look for a place farther away if the Mercure is full.
