"Cabin was exactly as described. Great location, the trout were fun to feed, owner John was very friendly. Perfect place to unplug because there is absolutely no service. The bathroom could have used a good cleaning, but otherwise the cabin was very comfortable. "

"Very quiet area. My wife and I made a last minute decision to take a few days off. We went mid spring and were the only lodge, of the 4, that was occupied for 3 of the 4 nights (early May). Stayed in the Lake House. Between the view of the beach/lake and having both an indoor fireplace and an outdoor fire pit, it was exactly what we were looking for. We couldn't believe how perfect it was considering we only made the choice to go about a week earlier"

"Property was welcoming to dogs but there wasn’t a way to get pre-authorization - although they requested it- even though I didn’t get that information until I checked in. There were no blankets! There was a light cover and a sheet on the bed. No blankets in the closet just one extra pillow. Also no Kleenex. Please was clean. Lovely view and nice beach frontage. Unfortunately the property owner decided to blow the leaves from the property. Then crews came to work on the property -backhoe, dump truck- loud. When I took the dog for a walk the crew was smoking pot. This was supposed to be a time away for me in the off quiet off season to get some work done. The dog got so worked up because he could hear stuff that we had to leave. Also, the management knew a crew would be there doing work and they still asked if I wanted to extend my stay! I would have been so mad if I said yes and paid, and then had to listen to and watch the work being done! I am sure they are getting ready for the busy season but it was disappointing."
