The Cathedral is just across the road and everything you need including lunch by the riverside is within easy walking distance. "I understand the rental was new, so there's some scope for improvement, but we got off to a bad start when I booked the property but was then told the pictures did not relate to the flat available. After negotiating we stayed, and the smart TV did not stream any channel or even Netflix, but although the shower immersion heater unit worked, the tap only ran cold in the bathroom sink, and there could have been a few more mugs, cutlery and some side plates would have been helpful. The flat needed...

"A clean and well-stocked flat in a very convenient location. Great appliances that all worked. A clean, comfortable bed and comfortable sitting area. Possibly the best VRBO we have encountered. If we had to point out limitations we would say the shower is a little small and it was odd that there were only 3 dinner forks but both would be a little nit-picky considering the overall quality of the flat!"

The Gonville Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely hotel, great location but the stand out was the staff, every person of staff that I spoke to was very friendly, a lot of the staff were young which in the U.K. could be a red flag however, maybe it’s the Cambridge air but they were all great."

Clayton Hotel Cambridge

10/10 Excellent

"My wife, who is an artist, loves the decor of this hotel. I found the staff really helpful. We had an odd problem with our room due to the kettle causing an electrical short. The staff were excellent in sorting out the problem and gave us an upgrade. The breakfast is very good and well laid out with options for a personalised service. The beds are very comfortable, we have stayed there before so can compare the rooms. The location is excellent, just near the railway station. We plan to stay there again when visiting family."

Cambridge Quy Mill Hotel & Spa in Cambridge

8/10 Good

"Clean room, great use of facilities at Imagine Spa, pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Delicious pie of the week and breakfast too. Great staff, every single one of them. Paticularly Elliott who saved us some money too with taxi recommendations. Taxis very good too and night life great for 2 of us in the city of Cambridge"
