This modern, single bedroom off-grid home is designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings, and has all you could want. It provides space to relax and unwind. You’re likely to see Ulysses and Orchard Swallowtail and the Common Eggfly Butterflies, and see and hear Rainbow Bee-eaters, Pacific Emerald Doves, Bush Stone Curlews, Peaceful Doves, and Scrub Turkeys as they forage among the surrounding Fig trees, Mackay cedars, Flame Trees, White Cedars, Damson and Milky Pines. Your nearest neighbour is almost half a kilometre away, and nowhere in sight.
Given its proximity to Airlie Beach, you can easily base yourself from Moondance Escape while you explore the nearby Whitsunday Islands. You’ll have access to WIFI so you can sit back and plan your visits to the islands or to the Great Barrier Reef for snorkelling, diving or just relaxing at one of the many nearby beaches.

An amazing, spacious house a world away from the hustle and bustle of Airlie, yet only 15 minutes away. So very peaceful, quiet and private. We loved it.

Best stay in Australia

This is a wonderful and peaceful retreat next to nature with great amenities. Debbie is a fantastic host and very generous. This place is right next to the forest with no one nearby, great for people who love privacy. The bath in the backyard with firewood is awesome. Highly recommended for anyone staying in the area!
