About this property

Luxury lodge situated idyllically on the edge of a small working farm

  • Set in a peaceful, rural location between Portpatrick and Stranraer, Laggansally Lodge provides total seclusion for those seeking to explore the delights of the Rhins of Galloway. Beaches, lighthouses, golf courses and renowned gardens enjoy an especially mild climate, happily fairly midge free. Wildlife watchers, walkers and cyclists are in for a treat! Opportunities to try your hand at both freshwater and sea-fishing abound.

    Laggansally is a newly built spacious bungalow with comfortable excellent quality furnishings and everything you need to enjoy a home away from home, plus that little bit more. We provide everything from luxury bedding and towels to wood for the woodburning stove. The house is warm with oil fired central heating and a modern Rayburn. An expansive lawn to the front of the house, wildlife pond (fenced off for toddlers), and woodland approach together with ample parking ensure total privacy. Our small family farm is less than half a mile away - wander across and meet the menagerie!


    We now take small pets.
