The "Kempkens Holiday Rental" is located on the eastern outskirts of Straelen, in a quiet setting surrounded by fields, meadows, and farms.
In July 2024, our “temporary home” received a 4**** rating from the German Tourism Association.
The apartment, newly built and expanded in 2023/2024, combines traditional architecture with modern, high-quality amenities. Whether you’re a contractor looking for lodging, travelling on business, or planning to enjoy your holiday as a group or family, you’ll (hopefully) find everything you need for a wonderful stay here:

There’s room for 5 people in the 2 bedrooms, plus a sleeper sofa (for 2 people) in the living room. Pets allowed upon request! The beds in the bedrooms can also be pushed together to form double beds!

Upon entering through the front door, you’ll find yourself in a large, spacious hallway. From there, turn right to enter the holiday rental.
The entryway/hallway area and both bathrooms (shower room and guest bathroom) are located on the ground floor, while the kitchen, living room, and bedrooms are on the ground floor.
The bedrooms are soundproofed, including Schallex doors. This allows you to continue relaxing in the living room even when others in the bedrooms are already seeking quiet.

The apartment spans a spacious 88 m² plus a balcony and features
• a high-quality built-in kitchen with brand-name appliances (convection oven / ceramic cooktop, range hood, large 1.78 m tall fridge-freezer combination, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, and coffee maker—tea towels, a complete set of kitchenware including dishes, glasses, and silverware. We also provide dish soap and dishwasher tablets free of charge.
• The kitchen also features a cleaning supplies cabinet with a vacuum cleaner, mop, etc.
• A dining table with 6 chairs
• A desk with a monitor
• A modern bathroom with natural light, a large walk-in shower (1.40 x 0.90 m), a toilet, a sink with hand soap and a hair dryer, as well as a washer-dryer (for a fee).
• Guest bathroom with an additional toilet, urinal, and sink, including hand soap
• 2 bedrooms, each with 1 double bed; the right-hand bedroom also has a single bed, a chest of drawers, and closets
• A multifunctional room, accessible via a narrow staircase from the right-hand bedroom, featuring an armchair and a Smart TV—headroom approx. 1.70 m.
• A living room with a spacious sofa set, Smart TV, and satellite TV
• Insect screens on windows and the balcony door
• Spacious balcony with a table and chairs
• Travel cot and children’s toys available upon request
• Free Wi-Fi access

The Lower Rhine region is perfect for cycling and hiking. In just a few minutes on foot or by car, you’ll be surrounded by nature, and numerous shopping options, swimming pools, and other attractions are also within easy reach.
