The Best

Wonderful house, excellent location if you want to be close town. Very clean and exceptionly supplied. Backyard secluded with beatiful vegetation. Hosts were very responsive to any questions. Looking forward to a return visit.

Great stay at Stowe

The house is absolutely lovely. It is so clean and well appointed. The beds are super comfy. It’s a 5 minute walk to village shops, restaurants and free shuttle up to the mountain. Couldn’t ask for a better fit for our family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers.

amazing home and perfect spot if you are skiing at Stowe

The home was beautiful and had all the details for comfort. The owners were super responsive and really kind. We skiid at stowe and this was the perfect location. grocery a skip away and house equiped with everything we needed to cook dinner for the children. I look forward to staying again.

Great Location! Great House!

We loved our stay in this house! It’s so close to Stowe Village (walkable) and so charming! The house is wonderfully appointed and the layout made it perfect for our two families to enjoy! The beds are amongst the most comfortable of any VRBO listing we’ve stayed in and so are the couches!!! It was a fabulous house to just sit and enjoy our friends after a long day at the slopes! Super clean! Would definitely rent again!!!!

A hidden gem in town

The property is located in town, walking distance to great drinks spots like The Whip and a completely doable distance to the mountain for avid skiers. The house is spotless with an extremely well appointed kitchen. The sitting areas are cozy with a lovely fireplace at the center, and the bedrooms and bedding are very comfortable. And lastly, the homeowners were super communicative even after our stay when we forgot a couple of items. The only very minor thing we chatted about as a group was that the heat was slightly variable by room. But that 100% could have been user error. We loved our time in Stowe!

All good and as advertised, we had a wonderful stay and appreciated the in-village location as change from mountain. The ONLY nit I have, listing says there is a coffee grinder on premises, so we brought beans for the coffee snobs. no grinder. life is tough, we had to grin and bear it. made zero difference in the stay. All good.

Very Nice house in Stowe

This is a very nice house in Stowe. Great location in the town. Right across the street from a grocery store. Walking distance to a few restaurants and the chocolate shop as well. The house is well stocked with pretty much everything you might need. Easy drive to the mountain for skiing/snowboarding. The only part of the house that I would make sure you are aware of beforehand is the fireplace. It is not a very deep fireplace, and trying to get a fire going with 1 or 2 pieces of wood can be tricky. Any more than that and you run the risk of having smoke back up into the house (which is mentioned in the house guidebook when you arrive). Probably the easiest thing is to use a duraflame log to get a fire going and put 1 real log on top at a time. Also, this property does allow pets. My son is allergic to dogs, so we had to give him some allergy medication because of the fur that is invariably left behind (the house is very clean, don't get me wrong). Just be aware. Other than that, the house was wonderful. Very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The house was so comfortable, clean, designed beautifully and had everything you'd need. The beds were amazing with great linens and comforters. The kitchen had everything you'd need, including tons of spices. We were so sad to leave!
