Truly superb townhome in beautiful Stowe

We loved our stay and hope to return soon and often! The home is absolutely lovely and impeccably maintained. The location offers something for everyone including skiing, hiking, spa and fitness center, great restaurants and charming town center. We also appreciated how easy it was to check in/check out and reach the property manager when we had a question.

Well-equipped, very comfortable stay

The house is clean and beds are very comfortable. Beautiful Mountain Views. So many wonderful details, like the mud room with cubbies and hooks, newly renovated kitchen that was very well stocked with utensils, coffee grinder, etc, desk/workspace, boot warmers in the garage, master bedroom with reading nook and ottoman. The property is tranquil and quiet- slept like a baby. Couple of things to note. The property is advertised with “access” to pool and hot tub, but there is a $117/day charge for use of these in the main lodge. The master bed is VERY high. I am 5’3” and it came up to my hips. Luckily I am agile enough to get in and out, and once in, the bed was incredibly comfortable. The driveway is on a hill. We were there a week during winter and not once was the driveway plowed even though I offered to move the car for them to do so. Make sure you have good treading on your shoes/boots because the driveway can be treacherous, and it might not get plowed. Overall, a lovely stay.

We had an amazing time at Stowe this past weekend and this home is gorgeous! So much room, everyone could spread out and have their own bathroom. The linens and bedding was outstanding...like sleeping on a cloud. Can't wait to go back next season!

The property was perfect for our stay. The only reason I gave it less than five stars was that our dog found some crumbs under the living room coffee table to nibble on. That being said the positives certainly outwayed the crumbs. The house was very comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches such as the jewelry boxes in the bedrooms, makeup towel, boot warmers etc.. It was a pleasure working with the employees at Stowe Resort Homes. They dealt with all issues in a friendly and professional way and were always accessible either by email or phone.

Big complaint about property and other resort homes in the past is the squeaky doors.

Big complaint about property and other resort homes in the past is the squeaky doors. Very annoying especially with having some young kids. Response from SRH: Thank you for bringing the squeaky doors to our attention. We lubricate the hinges in the Spring and Fall every year, and will attend to this home immediately.
