Mountainside Resort has issued a do-not-drink water mandate due to high PFAS levels. Water is also available at the Mountainside office and pool area. Additionally, the owner has provided drinkable water in the unit. Water should only be used in instances where it is not being consumed.
This family-friendly and inviting condo is located on Mountain Road in Stowe! Take advantage of the resort's on-site amenities, including a shared indoor swimming pool, a convenient sauna and hot tub to soothe your tired muscles, a well-equipped fitness room, a game room, and basketball and tennis courts! If you head farther up the mountain, you will find some of the best skiing and snowboarding in Vermont, Smugglers Notch, and hiking trails. Back at a lower elevation, you will find some fantastic restaurants and unique shopping experiences.
The living room is warm and comfortable with plush couches and an electric fireplace; it's the ideal place to kick back and read a good book or gather with your friends or family and play one of the many board games available. The full kitchen and dining room are perfect for those nights when you want to stay in and have a home-cooked meal.
The bedrooms have private bathrooms, and a sofa bed is in the living room.

property location...deck with mountain view, clean, all amenities working, pool and workout building directly across driveway. location for restaurants and town...2 miles!
Pretty nice location in decent condition. Priced fairly for what it was. Only real complaint was that we had to call them to get the code for the pool facility. Seems like something that should just be in the listing or posted in the unit. Thanks!

Location was perfect for skiing. A short (although hilly) walk to the free shuttle to Stowe. The walk down was easy, but was a bit more of a challenge on the return uphill leg after a day of skiing. Plenty of space and good for kids. Loved the bunkroom! Pool was not accessible without keycards, and no keywords were available for unit. Don't plan on pool or hot tub access!
Perfect spot if you’re into beer and walking. The condo was a great size for us and our two kids. They each got a top bunk. We were in a great location to do stuff in the area like the Stowe gondola and Umiak kayaking. And we were just up the hill from the Alchemist and other great beer and food. Only drawback was the water situation-I called to have it replaced and found two guys emptying the jugs. We just bought our own water.

Great location (across the street from Alchemist brewery, right by the rec path, close to the Trapp property, close to restaurants). Clean home. Could improve on communication for the pool access and being made aware that the water is not drinkable (the pool across from the building has a water cooler you can use). Bedrooms don’t have AC so they were hot during the 80 degree days. Otherwise, we were satisfied.
Location is great, not too far from Stowe. Close to town. Unit is dated, but spacious.WHERE THINGS GO OFF THE RAILS - 1. The water is not potable - there is a sign on the door that you should not drink or cook with the water. Don't let kids swallow it. You need to go across the street to get your water, but they have an office water dispenser in the unit unplugged and not setup along with full water jugs. Texting Vacasa support nobody knows if you can use it. THE LISTING DID NOT DISCLOSE THIS - I would have thought twice about booking.2. Mice Droppings in the kitchen cabinet all over the place and on bowls and dishes. Contacted Vacasa support because this is a VT health code violation. They said it would be cleaned up since droppings can transmit Hantavirus. Nobody every came to clean it up. Multiple chat conversations with support and never received a call from the local property management team ever! 3. Washer/Dryer Not working NOT even connected - When we go skiing we specifically look for units with washer dryer to avoid bringing a ton of clothes. It's a critical feature. I understand things break occasionally and keeping a listing up to date is difficult, BUT when the machine is completely disconnected that should be disclosed. It's not an unforeseen surprise. I thought maybe the water was turned off to the unit which I turned on and quickly found myself in a large puddle of water. No warnings or note on the unit. The exhaust vent wasn't connected either.
Clean, comfortable and convenient to ski area, shopping, restaurants and other activities. Pool, hot tub sauna and exercise building less than two minute walk.

Our stay was good overall. The pool building was closed and there were a lot of construction trucks on site. Those informations was told after we booked and paid the rental so it was disapointing. The dishes were dirty, we had to wash every piece before using it. We appreciate the location and calm on site.
Overall our stay was good. Frustrated that we were not told the pool would be closed until we were already on our way. They did disclose about the PFAS in the water, but I still wouldn’t recommend staying here with kids, especially if formula feeding. I ended up throwing away the bottles I put in the dishwasher because I was concerned about the PFAS. Towels were very small and scratchy. We were only there for two days so we made it work, and the problems we encountered were small, but when they all added up it made me not want to book this spot again.

We had a lovely start at our Vacasa home. The home was clean and comfortable. Furnitures could have been newer. Would return
Location great as starting point for family interested in all three. Well equipped and maintained. Could be improved by replacing MB bed "roll to the middle" mattress and stocking kitchen with mugs rather than (small) teacups.
The condo was nice and as described. I would note that we stayed there in June during a heat wave and the AC was not adequate to cool the bedrooms but it might be in normal temps. Also, there was a legal notice saying that the water was not drinkable but that drinkable water was available in the pool area but it was not.
This place was great, location … it was clean … easy to access the town and activities… fitness center was nice but could use a regular staff to check the status of ph levels et .al… the downfall the unit had no extra general basic everything had to be purchased… multiple trips to the grocery… for example i bought coffee thinking there would have been a reusable filter or filters somewhere nope.. back to the store… stayed for a week with 6 people and only two trash bags in the unit 😳… just a reminder that when you shop for the week you will need to buy everything or bring from home.
Conveniently located. The pool and hot tub and sauna were right across from the rental property. Labeling could be a little better, but overall fantastic stay
