Der Gastgeber ist super freundlich und kommuniziert schnell und gut. Es war dort alles super, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gibt 2 Kamin, die das Wohnzimmer gemütlich machen im Herbst, eine große Küche mit allem wichtigen. Die Zimmer sind hellhörig, aber sehr schön. Alle mit eigenem Badezimmer. Die Sauna im Poolhaus ist leider nicht nutzbar, dafür hat der Gastgeber aber eine neue Fass-Sauna gekauft und vor dem Poolhaus aufgestellt, die mit Holz beheizbar ist und super funktioniert hat. Auf der schönen Terrasse steht ein toller Grill. Wer hier herkommt, muss auf jeden Fall grillen, das lohnt sich:) Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Het was fantastisch

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in dit prachtige (voormalig) hotel. Zeer grote woonkamer met meer dan voldoende zit ruimte en twee open haarden, waardoor er een gezellige sfeer is. Mooi verwarmd zwembad en sauna. Het incheck ging soepel en relaxt. Mooie omgeving; we hebben heerlijk gewandeld, kortom; aanrader!

Rundum wohlgefühlt

Das Haus hat sehr viele Vorteile für eine Familiengruppe wie uns aus derzeit drei, demnächst vier Generationen. Großer, gemütlicher Wohn-Essbereich, daran anschließend einen großen Spielbereich (für kleine und große "Kinder"). D.h. auch wenn man nicht unbedingt dasselbe unternimmt im Haus ist man doch irgendwie zusammen. Jedes Zimmer mit eigenem Bad/Toilette. Große Sonnenterrasse mit Blick auf den Fluss. Das gesamte Gelände ist eingezäunt, so dass weder Kinder noch Hunde auf die Straße laufen oder in den Fluss fallen können. Die Küche ist groß genug zur Versorgung von 30 Personen, reichlich Kühlmöglichkeiten und große Backöfen. Die Kombination aus großen Töpfen und normalen Haushaltsherden ist etwas ungünstig, lässt sich aber managen. Wellnessbereich mit Sauna und Schwimmbecken sehr angenehm mit Terrasse und Blick auf Garten und Fluss. Die Umgebung lädt zum wandern ein, wenn man etwas Kultur möchte, muss man halt ein Stück mit dem Auto fahren. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und haben das Haus bereits für das nächste Jahr wieder reserviert.

niet wat we verwacht hadden

*Het tweede campingbedje wat we gereserveerd hadden was nergens te bekennen. Daarna hebben we instructies gekregen waar een afgesloten ruimte was en waar we de klink van de deur konden vinden in het plafon, gelukkig stond in die ruimte nog een campingbedje!! *We hebben heel veel ratten zien lopen overdag die ook de spelende kinderen hebben gezien. We snappen best dat er bij het water ratten zitten maar zoveel dat ze overdag rustig rond paraderen over de speelveldje is wel erg. *Jammer dat het voetbalspel en de dartbordspel pijltjes bijna allemaal kapot zijn, wij vinden als we zoveel geld voor een huis betalen dat dat toch goed moet zijn. *De afvoer zat dicht {hebben de mannen zelf opgelost} *Woensdag en donderdag geen wifi en tv. Na contact met Arnoud (eigenaar) via de app beloofde hij ons om daar de volgende dag in de morgen iets voor te doen. Helemaal niks meer van gehoord!! *Kachel in zitgedeelte was niet te gebruiken in huis heel veel rook en op de slaapkamers ook. Dus na een avond gezellige warmte van de kachel was de pret over.

Magnifique gîte avec splendide terrasse sur l'Amblève !

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour, le gîte était en parfait état malgré les inondations trois semaines auparavant. Le site est vraiment exceptionnel. Et même quand la météo n'est pas favorable, l'intérieur est bien assez confortable pour que ce ne soit pas un problème.

Sehr großzügige Aufenthaltsräume. Hervorragend ausgestattete Küche. Einladend sauberes Schwimmbecken. Zum Teil sind die Zimmer sehr eng und hellhörig. Es gibt zu wenig Kleiderhaken auf den Zimmern. Duschen bzw. WC sind zum Teil nur mit akrobatischen Verrenkungen zu erreichen. Nach etwas Übung geht es dann.

Perfect for large groups

We spent a long weekend with a large group (10 adults, 7 children and 2 dogs) in this house and it was perfect. The kitchen may not be beautiful but it is the most functional and practical kitchen we have ever encountered. The location of the house is beautiful, right by the river with a lovely garden and a big terrace. The bedrooms are not very large and the some of the bathrooms are quite small, but this was not a problem at all. The communication with the agency was excellent.
