Onze recente vakantie in dit vakantiehuisje in de Belgische Ardennen voldeed helemaal aan onze verwachtingen. Met onze nieuwe pup kozen we voor een verblijf in koelere temperaturen in plaats van onze traditionele reis naar Toscane. Ondanks de eenvoudige, ietwat gedateerde uitstraling bood de woning een warme en uitnodigende sfeer waarin we ons meteen op ons gemak voelden. Als u op zoek bent naar hypermoderne luxe, dan is dit waarschijnlijk niet de juiste plek voor u. Wij vonden het zelf heel fijn dat we ons geen zorgen hoefden te maken om bijv. de vuile pootjes van de hond! De perfect uitgeruste keuken was een aangename verrassing en daarnaast hebben we ook echt genoten van het terras op de eerste verdieping. Je hebt hier (als ze schijnt) de hele dag zon en kunt er heerlijk genieten van een potje Rummikub of lekker een boek lezen. Onze pup waande zich in de zevende hemel in het bos tegenover het huis en aangezien we best wat onverwachte regenbuien hebben gehad waren de wasmachine en droger echt een superfijne toevoeging. De gastvrouw is een fantastisch leuk mens en het contact is lekker easy-going en privacy wordt gerespecteerd. Kortom, een top verblijf in de Belgische Ardennen! Bedankt!

Mieke is een goeie gastvrouw. Ze woont ter plekke, maar blijft uitermate discreet en respecteert absolute discretie. Daarnaast is ze steeds beschikbaar als er toch iets is. Perfect. We hadden steeds het gevoel erg op het gemak te zijn, geen enkel moment van storing door de gastvrouw/heer, erg belangrijk! De vakantiewoning is erg fijn, niet in het minst omdat het huisje goed voorzien is van (persoonlijke) toetsen, al wat je nodig zou kunnen hebben, en meer, is voorzien. Geen kil vakantiehuis met gestandardiseerde voorzieningen dus. Ook erg royaal met extra's, zoals voorzien brandhout om een gezellig vuurtje te stoken, beschikbaarheid van fietsen, het heerlijke terras, sorry, de terrassen, koffie, thee, (af)wastabs alles aanwezig. Ook erg fijn, de persoonlijke filmcollectie waaruit we heerlijk hebben kunnen smullen. Erg vertrouwelijk en een absolute aanrader wat ons betreft!
