"I will say this review is skewed because I had a terrible experience with Jason at the front desk. Based on the experience of his rudeness and lack of professionalism, I will never go back. The outside can be improved, there were glass bottles standing up in the parking lot in spaces and just overall not kept. As you walk in the swinging door is broken and the lobby is small. We stayed on the second floor and there were no elevators. The room itself smelled clean and the bed was soft. However, the sheets were stained, the shower curtain was dirty, no toiletries were provided, and it was difficult to get the room with the fridge and microwave we paid extra for. Overall, I would never stay here again. "

"We were comfortable and close to the elevator. The Army Reserve group on weekend maneuvers were 40 in number and polite. Families took good care of their children. The staff was very helpful. Holiday Inn and Qunita are top on our list for short stays."

Awful smell comes from the AC/fan unit (mold/mildew/dampness), cobwebs in corners, metal bed frame that sticks out, terribly uncomfortable bed with squeaky springs that stuck in my back Asked the person on staff for 2 additional pillows and he looked at us like he had never been asked for anything extra before and tried to dissuade us by saying they were all the same size (that wasn't the point-we needed more due to how uncomfortable the bed was) He did get them but looked very put-out We checked out early."

"Our family (there were 18 of us from 5 states) came to TREETOPS to celebrate a birthday. The house, as advertised, was perfect in every way. It is in a beautiful location with great views and a nearby by nature preserve for walkers. The house has several great places for people to gather, and to eat. There is an outstanding sound system in the house and a large library of CD’s. The kitchen is large and well stocked for a large group. There is a beautiful swimming pool, but unfortunately we were there too early in the year to use the pool. All that said, the most important feature of the property is the environment created in the house by its architectural layout and the beautiful objects of art that are present in every room. Everyone in our group thought the house was a critical factor in making for a unique and memorable family get together. Finally, the Host (Dan) was extremely friendly and helpful. "

"The place is absolutely FANTASTIC! It is beautiful, the bed is super comfortable, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need, loved the shower products too. My family celebrated Christmas here and the added touch of decorations made it feel so homey. The welcome basket is such a nice touch and we enjoyed the wine with Christmas dinner. The host is very responsive. For no fault to her, just due to winter weather, the power went out for a few hours. Right away she communicated with us about when it would be restored. Sometimes on vacation things happen and this is a host who is there for you. You gave our family precious memories!! Thank you so much! Plan to return the next time we come to CT!"

"We had a great stay. The house was welcoming, cozy and looked exactly like the photos. Everything we needed to know was outlined in a book left on the table. Communication with Dan was prompt and courteous. Everything we needed for the kitchen, bathroom and even a snow shovel and ice melt were available. It really was a great spot. "
