"We had a wonderful 4 days at Twin Ponds. The home is very spacious and kitchen is well equipped. The beds were super comfy. The back deck with the Brickstone and gas firepit are great. The chairs are new and comfortable. The hot tub was fun for our family. Our host Chris was very helpful and made our stay perfect. "

"This was a beautiful property nestled in the woodsy mountains of Nellysford. So close to great wineries and cideries it’s definitely a great location. The cabin itself is well decorated and gives off a feel of being someone’s cabin in the offseason. The loss of a star for us was just the amount of bugs the cabin had. It had an unusual amount of stink bugs, to the point they were crawling in our hair and we didn’t hang out downstairs because there were so many of them. There were also a large amount of lady bugs but not quite as many as the amount of stink bugs. It also could be because we were there in the off season but the property in general could use some upkeep with spiderwebs/nests and dingy/dusty items around the cabin. The sleeping areas upstairs were lovely and the bathtub and hot tub were to die for! The views are stunning also. The fire pit was great also. "

"This was our first visit to Nelson Cozy Cabin and it won’t be our last! The property owners were super responsive and helpful with any of our questions, the home was immaculately clean, it was pet friendly, and it had absolutely everything we needed for a long weekend stay. Best of all, it was centrally located to many local tourist attractions. We did our Nelson and greater Charlottesville area wineries and it was a perfect distance. We will be back! Thank you again!"

"This house is enormous! Plenty of room for a large group to gather and have places to be together and apart as needed. Host set up extra tables which allowed us to all sit together for meals. Lovely weekend with spectacular sunrise. "

"Host was super responsive and helpful. House super clean and lots of nice touches. Only small suggestion is that most of the light and fan switches are in odd places and multiple so hard to firgure out in some rooms. Having small labels on switches would help identify which light. Ive stayed in plenty high end rentals where that was done and when you are only there a few days it helps. Other than that really great experience."
