Cozy Apartment with Sauna in Historic Stone Ridge

It offers perfect mixture of rustic and modern styles, it is decorated with original pieces of art. It has a fireplace stove and a wood fired sauna in the backyard for you to enjoy. Full kitchen is equipped with everything guests need to prepare a great meal. It is perfect for all seasons and located within walking distance to great restaurants, coffee shops, yoga studios and groceries. New Paltz, Woodstock, Minnewaska, Mohonk Preserves, Shawangunk Ridge and SUNY are all within the short 20 min drive.

A lot of small details were thought out for the guests to be comfortable, to cook meals and enjoy the place. We are serious about the cleanliness and service, ready to go the extra step to make sure guests enjoy their stay and keep improving the place all the time.

Inaccurate discription
There was a bit of confusion over booking an extra night but I honestly do feel as though that was a miscommunication. Unfortunately, the ad stated it was wheelchair accessible which it is not. I have mobility issues and this is not the place for that. Steep driveway, stones loose walking to the front door, and steep stairs outside. The house was advertised as having a washing machine which it did not have. I have a toddler and it made the trip so intensely stressful. We had to rent a car - something we weren’t going to do since we were in walking distance of restaurants, a library, and a cafe. Lastly, it was advertised as having a fenced yard. This also was not the case and the front yard is on an extremely busy road. This again, was difficult with a toddler. We had to end our trip early to find a place with these ammenities. It made everything more stressful and expensive- two things you don’t want a getaway to result in.

What a sweet place!
We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay in this comfortable, relaxing space. I wish we were there for more than one night. The instructions for the fireplace are actually on a metal plate under the unit and is not controlled by the thermostat as mentioned in the welcome message. The heater in the living area was a little loud.
