"The Alokke bed and breakfast is a beautiful, rustic, countryside hotel that is a very quiet escape from cities, as many travelers told us was part of the reason for their stay. The staff, including the owner, performed Olympic level acrobatics to help us in our journey. The shared kitchen and living room helped us meet people from around the continent with breakfasts including flavored yogurt, eggs and jam. We do reccommend having a rental car since it is not in a city. We would love to go back in the future."

"Lots of positive things. Breakfast was great, we got upgraded to a room with ocean view which made for beautiful scenery, the staff was helpful and friendly. The room was cozy and had all the things we needed. Our only concern was the cleanliness of the garden. The day before the hotel had hosted a wedding and we found numerous cigarette buds and used napkins around the garden. Fully aware it is a significant task to clean the whole garden but would have expected the hotel and staff would be capable of handling this type of events and the cleaning afterwards."

I used the kitchen for my food to heat up and eat downstairs and walk around the delightful garden. Super hot shower, clean towels. I'm really not sure what the negative reviews are about. I've travelled a huge amount and this is fantastic for what you pay. Maybe people need to set their expectation on value and outcome."
