"My wife and I were in town for the Madeline Island Half Marathon run on May 17th and needed a new place to stay after our previous reservation at another VRBO was canceled on us by that host. This place was perfect for what we needed. It had a super comfortable bed, the soaking tub was AMAZING (and I wasn't even the one that ran!) and the peacefulness of the house was more than we could have hoped for. "We booked both main level suite areas for myself, 2 sisters and our mom. The front porch and fire pit in the front suite was beautiful and we used this a lot! Both suites were decorated beautifully and had everything that we needed. This was an amazing view and easy walk to/from everything we did in the area. "

"Very clean, quiet, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. What a nice spot to come back to after a day of hiking or bike riding.This is ideal as a base for exploring the area, or just staying in to have some relaxing downtime.The accommodation was wonderful, but what also adds to the great experience is the communicative and gracious host."

"Really great location, very nice facilities and perfect for our needs. Only suggestions are to improve internet access and simplify the on line check in process which is a little combersome. The manager (Pete) was helpful way above and beyond with the few issues we had with the checking in process. Will definitely use again in the future. "
