Deluxe "Sunset" Vacation rental in private marina on the California Delta
Our one of a kind Bungalows are located on the California Delta, just off the San Joaquin River. Whether you are traveling through Stockton to your next destination, on a business trip for a week, or out to enjoy to wonders the Delta has to offer our "wheelchair-friendly" Bungalow is perfectly equipped to accommodate all of your needs. Enjoy what the Delta has to offer by bringing your ski boat, access to a guest dock is within walking distance. Or, enjoy the beautiful, tranquil, sunset views of Mt. Diablo on the 600+ sq. foot deck which cantilevers over the levee. Our Four Deluxe Bungalows are located at Village West Marina, one of the largest covered marinas west of the Mississippi. We are conveniently located 1 mile from Highway 5 and a market center which incorporates a grocery store, Ace Hardware, and a few other stores you might find useful. There are 2 restaurants located at Village West Marina, Bob’s at the Marina, and Garlic Brothers. Enjoy all the marina has to offer on your early stroll to Bob’s for breakfast or your nightly stroll to Garlic Brothers for dinner or live music Thursday-Saturday. Check with the restaurants for daily and nightly specials. Our "wheelchair-friendly" Sunset Bungalow is equipped with a full kitchen, full refrigerator, queen size bed and large bathroom making it our most accessible Bungalow. This Bungalow now includes a pull out bed for those looking to sleep up to 4. Forgot your towels, no problem! Our Bungalow is equipped with all the linens necessary for your stay. There is a shared private laundry room available near the Bungalow, please be mindful that some call the marina their home and the facility may not always be available. Take full advantage of the stove top, oven, or bbq located on the deck, all kitchen utensils are provided. Don’t forget to bring your fishing pole! Fishing from the marina levees is not permitted, however, fishing from the attached deck of your Bungalow is permitted. Additionally, our new Cast-A-way fishing deck is located right on the water, just steps away from the Bungalows. Bring a couple fishing rods, lures, and bait to fish for catfish, bass, striper and carp. If you run out of bait, you can pick some up at the Village West Marina “Stop and Shop” conveniently located at the Village West Marina Fuel Dock and open 7 days a week from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Please do not walk down the levee bank as it is rocky and unsafe and is not permitted. The area west of your Bungalow is not a 5 mile an hour area, so please be careful throwing lines, and do not leave lines unattended as it will make for unsafe boating conditions. Also for your safety, there is no swimming allowed anywhere in the marina. There is one accessible designated parking space for your Bungalow. Additional parking is available south of your Bungalow between the L dock and M dock. Unauthorized parking will be ticketed by on-site security. There is plenty of parking, just note that in the summer months the parking fills up a bit more. If you have a watercraft, you can bring it too! We will reserve a slip close to your Bungalow and a temporary trailer space for your trailer. Just click on "parking fee" to add your watercraft reservation. The fee is $25 per night for your boat or boat and trailer. Launching is free. We will need a copy of your current boat insurance and registration before arriving. Most importantly, remember this Bungalow is located on a private facility, so please be respectful to those around you. This Bungalow is packed full of beautiful views and wildlife, so please do not disturb others that are enjoying these same things. Also, so our next guest receive the same experience, please maintain a clean Bungalow as you found it. We look forward to having you as our guest, and to share this hidden gem with you!

Stayed here MANY times and it never diappoints. Peaceful, home away from home, everything you need, comfortable! Only thing that could be better is the mattress.
This bungalow at Village West Marina and Resort was just perfect. The deck on Fourteen Slough was great to watch and listen to all kinds of birds and wildlife. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was well supplied. It was a pleasant stroll through the marina to the restaurants. All in all - we had a great time and will come again!
WE LIVE IN MANTECA AND FIND THAT THIS 20 MINUTE VACATION BUNGALOW IS GREAT FOR US. 85 AND 81. JUST RELAXED. WE USE TO HAVE A BOAT AND THIS IS HOW WE FOUND THIS GREAT PLACE. MY HUSBAND ENJOYS THE WATER VERY MUCH. HAVE RESERVATIONS FOR LABOR DAY CAN HARDLY WAIT.
Well appointed pet-friendly bungalow. Nice sunset views, bird watching, quiet atmosphere, friendly staff. Nice dog park with a couple agility features to exercise pups, well stocked and frequent pet waste stations throughout property.
I’ve lived in Lincoln Village West most of my life and had no idea that these bungalows were tucked away at the end of the marina. What a great find!
The bungalow was spacious and the views are beautiful. My mother in law had a wonderful stay.
The bungalow is a cute, quiet place to stay. We enjoyed waking up to the view of the water and the migrating birds. The marina is easy to access, and the restaurant (Garlic Brothers) was a fun place to meet our friends. We felt safe on our visit, but wished we had had better weather to enjoy the deck.
We enjoyed the sunsets and views across the Delta and Mt Diablo, watching the fog surround the mountain, and the ships traverse the river. Hard to believe it’s only minutes off I-5. We’ll be back
I felt safe while staying here. The area was beautiful and so peaceful. The bungalow itself was the perfect size for my own needs and wants. This place was so clean, I have no complaints about it. The communication with the staff was superb. Would definitely seek this place again if I am in the area!
This is the second time we have stayed at the Marina and we will be back next year. Very peaceful. The Sunset rental is very clean and well organized. The deck is a great place to relax, have a drink and listening to the birds sing. Thank you.
We booked the Sunset bungalow with the idea of doing a lot of fishing and catching a lot of fish! Only landed one little one but we had a wonderful time relaxing on the beautiful verandah, listening to the birds each morning and evening, observing the tides go in and out, and basking in the sun and savoring the evening breeze. The internet for the TV didn't work, which was probably a good thing, as we played games and talked instead of watching TV! Thanks to our hosts.
Lovely, peaceful setting within walking distance of restaurants. Very clean and comfortable inside and the deck area was great for enjoying the water life and the few boaters who went past. The sunsets were beautiful. Kitchen basis were available, but do remember the salt and pepper if you plan on cooking. hadn’t realized that I booked the accessible bungalow, but there is a ramp, large bathroom with support bars, a huge shower with seat and multiple showerheads. So nice to have this kind of availability. Highly recommended.
Living in Stockton all my life until 2019 (51years) it was a nice place to stay that takes you away from how "rundown" Stockton has become. It was nice to be on the water with a view of Mt. Diablo. I would recommend to others for sure since the Hotel/Motel situation is non existent in Stockton. The only negatives are the floors were not that clean after walking barefoot and I would suggest a ceiling fan over the bed and in the bathroom, as there is no good air circulation once the window a/c unit is off.
My family has stayed here several times. We often occupy cabin 1 and 2. We have nothing but Great thing to say about our stays here and our Host David. Communication with David is so easy, he always respond so quickly and is always so accommodating, even to our sometimes multiple requests. We always feel safe which is very important. The cleaning crews make these cabins look like we are the very first guests, Everytime we stay. Now, we come to relax and fish and this is the perfect place for this. We caught several nice sized Bluegill and Catfish this time. We just sat on the deck listened to music and played cards with our brother and sister that were staying in the cabin next to us. This place is definitely worth the money, when you need a little reset.
If you need a quiet place surrounded by nature and friendly travelers, this place is perfect. Pictures on site do no justice to the views. Also has boat, kayak and jet-ski access to the river, which i did not use this trip.
