A good fresh hotel
A very fresh/clean hotel. Modifications in place due to Covid-19; breakfast in a bag with limited hours to collect. A minor inconvenience. Will be staying at the hotel again

Decent, not more
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly, but the rooms were small and the breakfast buffet was cancelled with no information about it anywhere. Price was ok, not sure that I would stay there again.

Forget this hotel
there was lot of noise in the middle of night , couldn't sleep whole night. Bed was not confirmable, it was so tiny room, no ventilation,.

Quiet neighborhood. Clean room even though it is not very big. Gym rules are strict and we were not allowed to use it as we didn't have another pair of fitness shoes. It is not within the premises of the hotel and we have to brave the cold winter night to walk to the gym.

Stockholm weekend stay
Nice and clean room, helpful hotel staff. Breakfast buffet had a pretty good selection. I liked in particular the pancakes/crêpes. Good choice for the price.

Not the best in class
To soft beds, small rooms, worst breakfast and particularly scrambled eggs ever - for several days in a row. Over priced bar in the facility - even for soft drinks. The only positive part is the that it seems clean, however I expect that whereever I come.

Ok for business stay
Stayed for 4 days on business. Good hotel for business meetings and stay in place. To go out, bus stops are nearby but train station is far. House keeping service is prompt.

Clean, friendly and a good price
My flight was cancelled so this was the closest reasonably priced hotel avaliable. Its about 10mins out of town. It was a pleasant stay, modern, functional and clean rooms, helpful and very friendly staff.

Good, clean business or tourist hotel
Don't be put off by the outside, it looks like a concrete pre fab - which is what it is - grey and unprepossessing! The area is away from the centre of Solna - offices and residential. The reception staff are VERY good indeed, really helpful and friendly. The twin rooms are smallish but adequate and very clean and comfortable. There is everything you need and an excellent power shower in the wet room style bathroom. Excellent free Wi-Fi and a wide breakfast selection make this a great choice. There is no lunchtime/evening restaurant by the way. Stuff is expensive in Sweden but this hotel qualified as good value for money given that. Note that It's a good 20 minutes' walk from the overground railway station at Solna and 10 minutes walk from the Solna Centrum Underground...It's quite hard to find. Get a cab (very expensive in Sweden) or let Google Maps direct you. Buy an SL card for discounted public transport... I'd use this hotel again every time!

Modest Hotel, close to the city centre
Myself and my sister stayed for a week at the First Solna Hotel. Though the hotel was a little bit further from the centre of Stockholm, it was well worth it. The hotel was reasonably priced and included most of the amenities we were looking for. We liked the fact that the First Solna Hotel had a 24/7 manned service desk with friendly and knowledgable staff. All of the hotel employees also spoke English which was helpful for us. We also felt safe and secure ensured at the hotel as guests were required to use a key card to enter the hotel. Though the area around the hotel was not very appealing, the location was actually great, and very safe. The room was a fair size compared to other European hotels, with comfortable beds that were made up daily. We also had a desk and television set that broadcasted channels in both English and Swedish. The bathroom was a good size for two people, and was cleaned on a daily basis, with towels being changed as frequently as you requested. The hotel also included free wifi and continental breakfast. The wifi was easy to connect to on multiple devices. Breakfast was always served at a reasonable hour and offered a lot of selection. The walk to the subway station was only 8 minutes, and the ride into Gamla Stan took 11 minutes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet spot to relax after a busy day in the city.

Mediocre hotel
I wasn't happy with the location of the hotel. It is slightly far from the center if you use metro. Closest metro station is "Solna Centrum" and you need to walk for 10 minutes to reach the hotel. Secondly, we stayed in a twin bedroom and bed was extremely narrow to sleep on it. So it wasn't much comfortable. In the room, there is no safe. On the other hand, cleanness of the hotel is surprisingly good. You cannot find a bit of dust in any corner throughout the place. Also I think the breakfast is successful. You can find variety such as eggs, bacon, fruits, turkey, butter, marmalade. Internet connection works perfectly well.

Nice clean hotel
The hotel is in easy walking distance (5 minutes) to the Metro Stop and the shopping center of Solna Centrum. The journey time was less than 10 minutes into Stockholm's T-Centralen. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Our double room was very clean. The road outside was busy during the day but quiet at night. Windows were good enough to keep the noise out. It didn't bother us at all. Overall, the hotel was exactly what we were looking for- good value for money close to Stockholm center.

In Sweden for soccer matches. Needed a base for 2 nights. Knew about the absence of a window in the room but: There was no chair/anywhere to sit and no where to put things (shelf/worktop etc) so any more than 2 nights and the room would not have been ok. Very laid back place so relaxing and quiet. Booking form said 'Urban Hotel' which wasn't the name on the building, making it a bit confusing! Luckily someone showed me which building it was.Easy walk to the subway system and buses with shops nearby.

Aweful experience with this hotel!
Accessible to Mall,Train Station,restaurant.complimentary good gym,but v v rude staffs.We were once asked to go out of the lounge so the receptionist can lock the place and go out to get food to eat,plus other rude acts by Staffs.Same breakfast everyday,Tiny rooms(except double bed rooms) with no phone,Some rooms v noisy. We took 14 rooms for 2 weeks.Too late to change hotel due to prior commitment.Awful experience! Deeply regrets being here!

Hotel belied initial impression from outside as it fully met all our requirements as a base for our holiday. Hotel was well managed and room was clean and its facilities good. Staff were pleasant but unobtrusive which was what we wanted.
