About this property
Romantic Lakeview Treehouse with Jacuzzi Tub & Private Deck
Escape to a beautiful, fully furnished treehouse elevated 15 feet above the ground—perfect for 2 adults. Finished in pine and cedar with soaring vaulted ceilings, it brings the outdoors in with oversized bay windows in both the living area and bedroom. Step out onto the 10 x 10 deck to take in the gorgeous tree line and spectacular Lake Eufaula views while you grill out. It’s an ideal setting for celebrating a special occasion or a runaway from the city. Unwind in the Jacuzzi tub with a drink, or cozy up in front of the fireplace.
These are the only tree top units with a view of beautiful Lake Eufaula. You’ll also have a full bathroom in addition to the Jacuzzi tub. Enjoy the firepit with camp chairs, with propane provided. This unit offers so many amenities—all it’s missing is YOU!!
The cabin sits on 12.5 acres and is accompanied by 8 others, spread apart by trees and positioned to provide privacy along with grand lake views.
After you pass through the gated entrance, you’ll have access to the entire property, including the hiking trail, horseshoe pit, picnic grass area, swingset, storm shelter, and front office storage with a variety of small appliances available to use.
We live close by and encourage you to contact us if needed during your stay.
You’ll feel secluded for privacy, yet you’re only 7–10 minutes to town. Restaurants and shopping are a short drive away. The unit overlooks beautiful Lake Eufaula. Our given address is Stigler; however, we’re outside of Longtown, just minutes from Eufaula city limits.
Grocery and necessity shopping is recommended before arriving. Walmart is located in McAlester or Checotah. Eufaula has local grocery and liquor stores, and a well-stocked Dollar General is in Longtown.
Pets are welcome with an appropriate fee of $50 per pet (max 2). Ask about our celebration packages ready and awaiting your arrival. The kitchenette includes a countertop plug-in 2 burner stovetop and an apartment-size fridge/freezer. A storm shelter is on site for inclement weather situations. Roads are paved to the property, and the last mile is maintained gravel. Smoking All Calico Heights cabins are non-smoking inside. Smoking is permitted outdoors and on patios only. A $200 fee will be charged if smoking of any substance is detected inside the cabin. Pets Pets are welcome with the applicable pet fee of $50 per pet, per stay, with a maximum of 2 pets. Pets not disclosed on the reservation may be subject to a $75 fee per pet. For the comfort and safety of all guests, pets, and the property: - Pets must be leashed when outdoors and in common areas. - Please keep pets off furniture, beds, linens, and Jacuzzi tubs. - Pet beds are welcome. - Please pick up after your pet both indoors and outdoors. - Pets should not be left unattended for extended periods unless safely kenneled. - Excessive barking is not permitted. - Excessive pet hair, damage, or additional cleaning caused by pets may result in additional charges. Check-In & Check-Out Check-in and check-out times are set for each cabin. Because Calico Heights operates on a tight cleaning and turnover schedule, early arrival or late departure is only permitted with prior approval. Unauthorized early arrival or late departure may result in a $50 fee. Linens & Towels Please use the provided makeup towels and appropriate cloths for cosmetics or products that may contain bleaching agents. If linens or towels are permanently stained, bleached, or damaged beyond normal use, replacement fees may apply: - Bath towel: $10 - Hand towel: $5 - Washcloth: $3 - Sheets: $30 - Bedspread: $50 - Mattress pad: $70 - Robe: $30 Damage Guests are responsible for damage to the cabin, furnishings, or property beyond normal wear and tear. Please let us know if something is accidentally broken or damaged during your stay. We would much rather know right away so we can repair or replace it before the next guest. Property Supplies For consistency across all cabins, I’d also start using: The Trading Post Our on-property supply location for guest essentials and replacement items. So anywhere the old material says “office storage,” “front office supplies,” or anything similar, I’d gradually standardize that language to The Trading Post. For example: Need an extra item during your stay? Select guest supplies are available at The Trading Post on the Calico Heights property.

I had an amazing experience at this cabin! The place was super clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. From the moment I arrived, it felt warm and welcoming. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, making my stay comfortable and relaxing. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!
My wife and I stayed here for 5 days and it was nothing short of amazing! The check-in process was smooth and easy to follow, and we had no issues at all finding our cabin. The views were great and the hiking trails were fun to explore. We spent most of our days in the cabin, which had plenty of space and was very relaxing. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a private getaway with your significant other.
We were looking for something secluded with a view, to celebrate our 19th anniversary and we got it; it was very relaxing, we enjoyed our stay very much.
Deb and Justin were wonderful hostess and host. We stayed 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Very quaint and secluded with a great view of Lake Eufaula
We enjoyed our three night stay. The cabin is very clean, the area is very peaceful, the nature walk was calming and delightful. The view of the lake from our picture window was outstanding! Watching the squirrels jump from tree to tree was an unexpected treat. The sunset on our final evening was the icing on the cake.
The cabin was clean , astonishing view, communication with Debbie was fast….. we will be coming back. Just want me and my husband needed a little recharge and a beautiful place. , oh yeah, in the Jacuzzi GREAT!
My husband and I had a great time here! The cabin was very nice and clean! The view was incredible as well! It was a great place to stay to celebrate our anniversary! It did get a little hot in the afternoons but that come with temperatures in the high 90s. The drive in is not the nicest but once you get there it’s in a gated community and the facilities are very nice! Overall we really enjoyed staying here!
This was my first Vrbo experience! I am yhrilled to report it wa seamless. The property owners gave us all the information we needed for a restful stay. The pictures don't do this property justice. It was absolutely gorgeous, spotless upon arrival and a wonderful atmosphere.
It was amazing. Everything was so clean and beautiful. It had everything you needed. I was impressed. It was secluded but had wonderful views of the lake. I will defiantly recommend.
Nicely furnished for a couple weekend. Nice view. Drawback was last mile to the house is down a gravel road and there is no lake access. BBQ grill needs to be replaced.
I am a pastor who recently lost my wife to cancer and needed a getaway to decompress and reconnect with God. This was the perfect location to isolate myself away from people for a couple of days. Place was very clean and accommodating. I would highly recommend. Plus I grew up in Eufaula, Oklahoma.
Waking up to the view was absolutely amazing. The hosts were quick to respond. The pontoon rental was a great and affordable add on. We were looking to relax, this treehouse was perfect for that. (Hope you don’t mind stairs) We will definitely be back!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the treetop house to celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary. The view was gorgeous, the small and well-appointed home comfortable and cozy. We ate all of our meals in and found all we needed in the kitchen. There was no oven, but a two-burner hot plate, microwave and roomy refrigerator. We enjoyed exploring and hiking nearby trails. Deb was responsive to our needs when we contacted her once during our stay.
We stayed in the treehouse for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. It was clean, very quiet and nicely decorated/equipped. The views were beautiful from the bedroom, living and deck. We loved watching the squirrels hop from tree to tree. We used the fire pit both nights and grilled steaks on the propane grill on Saturday. We enjoyed our coffee by the indoor fireplace on cool mornings. I planned easy meals, prepped some ahead but the kitchenette was very well equipped. It was nice to have a larger fridge than expected. Overall—we would definitely return. I DO think the camp chairs are ready to be replaced.
The cabin was very tastefully decorated.
The supplies included was a surprise more than high priced hotels. It was very peaceful that my husband and I needed. I only have two things I was not pleased with. On leaving instructions by the door it asked me to sweep the floor, I not only swept I mopped the bathroom floor so much for my cleaning deposit. On the patio the grill I wouldn’t cook a dead rat on it was filthy. So to me in all those two things were petty as far as our stay.
