"We came to Palais Amador looking for some relaxing time in the sunshine away from the stresses of home. What we found was a tranquil oasis with a family welcome that exceeded our expectations.
From the welcome from Zac and mum on arrival to being greeted at breakfast by the kind and caring Amira, we could not fault how at home we felt.
The food in the restaurant was great and the cleanliness and service exceptional. When we wanted a day trip into Marrakech, the arrangements were taken care of for us leaving us to enjoy the time we had there.
We would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful place and will definitely look forward to visiting again in the future.

"What a beautiful oasis in the desert! A stunning, traditional riad with the loveliest staff and owners. The food was delicious and generous, and we also sampled the spa which was a lovely treat. We'll definitely be back!"
"I nearly cancelled my stay here, with my 10 year old, when I read the recent reviews leading up to our stay. But my son loves swimming and water parks, so I thought we’d give it a go and not expect too much; we were only staying for 3 nights.
It far exceeded my expectations and we had a great time here. The hotel and waterpark is tired, in places, and it’s not luxury, but the lovely staff and my son’s smiles made up for that. The all inclusive food was nice. I can imagine it might get repetitive after a week, but there are so many options. It was busy at peak meal times, but we were there in high season so can’t expect a peaceful dinner. The staff work incredibly hard to keep fresh food coming out and tables cleared and cleaned.
We were allowed to stay after we checked out, until 6pm as my son was enjoying it so much. We would definitely go back, for another short stay, if we go to Marrakesh again. "
"What a find! This hotel is beyond stunning. We'd definitely go back in a heartbeat. Words can't quite describe how tranquil and unique it is. An absolute treasure, loved by us and our two children (aged 8 and 10). "
"Arrival was a little confusing but lovely spot on the river. Room was lovely and clean. Only minor thing is lots of wasps/bees hanging about especially with breakfast can be a little off putting. "
"Super clean, more than excellent staff, very helpful, room service is unbelievable, everything in the property is more than perfect, very very quiet and super relaxing, Mouhssine is very respectful person, took care of everything from A to Z since the first moment of arriving until last minute, the food is super delicious, i definitely recommend this place with no doubt!!!"
"We stayed at The Source for 2 nights in April 2025. We are a family of 6 and booked 3 twin rooms.
The first thing to say about the hotel, is that it is obviously owned by someone, or by a group of people, who know what quality looks like. The hotel looks exactly like the photos, It is a boutique hotel with some fantastic touches and facilities. The buildings, the pool, the Spa, and the gardens, are all fantastic. Tasteful, well designed, and incredibly well maintained.
However, in stark contrast to the appearance, the management of this hotel is very very poor. I would summarise it by saying that the guest services team is a. absent, b. takes no ownership for the client experience, and c. lacks any empathy for what a client may expect when booking and staying in a property like this one.
As soon as we checked in, there were clues all around that the management was not engaged in the client experience. We saw guests being poorly served and becoming frustrated, numerous gaps in the organisation, some of which were explained away by the fact that the hotel 'had just hosted a wedding', and an on-site team that looked tired and disinterested.
The biggest challenge with our own stay, was the checkout. We were leaving early for a 10.50am flight, and discussed the arrangements with the reception the day before. We agreed that we would order a taxi at 8am, for an 8.30am collection. Sounds easy? You would think so, but for some reason the reception failed to mention that they woul"
