- This cozy spot in Sterling is the perfect home base for a summer fishing trip. After a long day on the water, come back and relax in a comfortable space with two bedrooms (each with two beds) and a clean bathroom with a refreshing shower to rinse off and reset.
You’re just 8 minutes from the river, 20 minutes from Soldotna, and about 35 minutes from Cooper Landing—right in the middle of some of the best fishing around. There’s plenty of parking for trucks, boats, and gear, and the area stays quiet so you can unwind after a full day outside.

When originally booking the property the photos and description showed one bed per room, which was sufficient for our group size, and when we checked in the rooms were rearranged and an additional bed was put into each room which made them feel a little small and cramped. The main living space, and amenities afforded were great, and the host was very communicative and helpful.
