"The hotel is a gem. It has a lovely feel to it inside and out. The breakfast is wonderful and dinner a delight. The seating areas plentiful and to have the fire lit in the lounge in the evening although perhaps a little early really lovely. The stairs but challenging for ladies of a certain age. ..."

"We were upgraded to one of the apartments, which was a wonderful surprise. New and very clean. Bedrooms there on small side—we were on top floor under the eaves, but we had so much other space that it didn’t matter. Very practical location too."
