"It’s hard to find words to describe the magic of this special place. From the impeccable design choices to the wonderfully friendly and responsive hosts, it was altogether a truly unique and fabulous stay. The show stopper of course is the magnificent view of the ocean, with mesmerizing sunsets and peaceful sunrises over the bluff. But we also appreciated the luxurious bathroom with dual showers and a jacuzzi tub, as well as the kitchenette and grill. And the beautiful Sea Ranch lodge is only a short walk away. "Room was clean. Housekeeping staff were very friendly, although spoke Spanish only. Host was very helpful and friendly. The staff alone were worth the price of the stay. Awesome view of the ocean. "Surf Inn is a gorgeous motel with a setting overlooking the bluffs and the ending of the Gualala River as it meets the vast Pacific Ocean. Rooms are comfortable and parking in front is more than ample. And huge bonus is the on site laundry room available for guests. You just NVR know when this comes in so handy . Daily continental breakfast is nice and coffee is available all day either in each room with a provided Keurig Brewer or at the front office. Beverages are also available at the front office for a minimal fee . Walking distance to most eateries "

"Wonderful home in an incredible part of the world. The host was very welcoming, offering helpful information about the area well in advance of our stay. The house was very comfortable for me, my wife, and two teenaged sons. The kitchen has everything one needs. The beds are comfortable. The living space is cozy with great light, especially at sunset. Lovely forest trails are within very short walking distance of the house. And the hot tub is the perfect place to watch the stars while reflecting on a perfect day. "
