"A great sized room in a well kept hotel. The hotel is practically over the road from Basel SBB station - so perfect for day trips and an easy walk in to Basel old town and other attractions. There’s a lot of construction work happening at the moment and it would have been nice to have been warned about this directly outside the hotel, but clearly not in the hotels control. The rooms are well sound proofed but not for this level of noise. All the staff were very helpful and I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Our room was spacious and quiet in a wing off of the garden. Tea and coffee were available throughout the day in the dining area. There's a couple of cozy chairs and a desk, and mini fridge. We chose to purchase the breakfast buffet and it included a variety of hot and cold choices. The bathroom was also spacious with cabinet space, good water pressure and temperature. There was plenty of closet space, and windows opened over the garden area. The hotel is located on a sloped street with public transport at either side. Walking distance to the river and a number of sights. A wonderful stay!"
