Local dining at the Hideout Bar excellent food and breakfast just a 5 min walk away . Good for the open air theatre cricket club and peasholme park . "Friendly staff. Room was clean. It’s located in the city centre easy to walk around the shops and beaches. It’s on a hill, so one must walk down steps to the beach or take a tram. Food in town was not ideal: I tried a few based on reviews or recommendations, but was disappointed. Parking in town is a nightmare. The hotel provided on street parking £5/night, but it’s difficult to find a spot. There are some lovely shops around the corner, some antiques and soaps, where worth a visit."

It was the cheapest we could get for our visit so you basically get what you pay for, if you want a better quality hotel this is not the palace to stay."
