Although the property was clean. Staff was nice and helpful but not worth the money. Very small room. Stairs very bad, they will take you straight to heavens. Close to everything.

Great property to stay prior to my flight!

I had stayed in a Social Hub in Madrid and found it to be an excellent alternative to main stream hotels. The one in Amsterdam was not the case. The location for this hotel is not very good. We were assigned a handicap accessible room without requiring nor requesting one. They did change our room but unfortunately the air conditioning in that room did not work. When I enquired at the desk I was told that none of the rooms had air conditioning because it was illegal in Europe to have AC. This is of course false. The rooms were climate controlled except our room was about 25-28 degrees even though the thermostat was set to 18. They said they would send someone but never did. We survived by opening the window and luckily the fall weather kept the room comfortable for sleeping. We did not spend any daytime hours in the room. Overall, for the money we paid, we could have had a much better hotel room, closer to the city centre and in a safer, more friendlier area. I do not recommend staying at this location.

The hotel is beautiful and at a perfect location, right by Vondelpark and a 20-minute walk to Dam Square. There’s also a direct bus to and from the airport which was incredible! The room was nice, the bathroom had a weird unpleasant smell and even though we asked the staff to take a look, they basically just opened a window which isn’t ideal when it’s freezing outside haha. We also found our towels and bed sheets had small stains on them but they were clean! The bed itself was super comfortable especially the pillows! Also the elevator was out of service for a whole day… But! I did love the hotel, the breakfast was so good and the staff so nice. Plus you can’t beat the location. Would for sure stay again!
