An absolutely amazing place, on a hill overlooking the lake in the state park. Immaculate grounds and friendly staff. I was truly impressed by the mission-style furniture and all the bird pictures, books, and stuffed animals. Great fireplace in the dining room and a well-appointed game room too. Highly recommended and I am sure we will be back.

Nature Inn is fantastic

The staff and facilities at the Nature Inn were fantastic. Very clean and comfortable stay. They had several areas to hang out and play games with our family. We left Sunday morning for a basketball game and the staff remember remembered and even asked my daughter how she did when we returned. Great experience!

Hidden Gem

This was our third stay. We really love this place. It is like a hidden gem. It is very small ( just 16 rooms). The interior is all beautiful light colored hardwood. The food is very good, the employees are friendly, and it feels like you have the entire state park to your self.

Beautiful eco-lodge

A terrific state park eco-lodge, with a few quirks. My room was fairly small, but comfortable and very attractive --beautiful mission style furniture and natural wood trim. One very nice touch for bird lovers -- binoculars and a field guide. On the quirky side, the room doors weigh a ton, with uncomfortable handles, and there was no hair conditioner. Breakfast, included, was made to order (not always the case, apparently) and tasty (if a bit oversalted).

Every aspect of The Nature Inn @ Bald Eagle was exceptional; very helpful staff, large & very clean rooms with balcony overlooking the lake, onsite breakfast was up to "pre-pandemic" standards which is almost never the case elsewhere. Part of the appeal is the remote location, actually inside aPA State Park, but we had an extremely delicious dinner at The Hublersburg Inn just about 20 minutes away. We would definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway - bring your favorite book & enjoy the fireplace or numerous other common areas.

I didn’t know what I was getting into, when we booked it. But when we got there and we stayed there for the first hour it was just amazing to See the natural coverage, the water, the hills, the trees, the birds. The hotel itself is very nice and very clean, very minimalist and super modern. It has a really nice touch off the fire place. I just became a fan right away

It was a wonderful experience. The staff was wonderful and the location was beautiful. I will definitely go back. The gentleman front desk gave me toothpaste and tooth brush and also a free charger cord for my phone. Women in the morning dropped off breakfast with coffee. They also offer free ski/snowboarding outfits for two hours
