"Although the weather did not really cooperate (rained for the first 2 days), we still found the home cozy, peaceful and and the area serene. A beautiful location right on the lake. We go once a year with our four wheelers to northern Vermont and this was a great riding area. Lots of trails with stops along the way (Parker Pies, Bakersfield, Morgan Store). Jim and his wife were there when we arrived. Very nice people. Would recommend to hikers, ATV'ers, and just folks who want to get away. PS. The lake was extremely cold to swim in. Tried fishing, no catching."

"Imagine waking up to the sun peeking through your window while you hear dozens of birds say good morning - your first cup of coffee on the all-weather porch and the second on the second floor porch of the beach house across the way. Everything you need is right here! Evenings spent lounging the Adirondack chairs surrounding the small fire pit, watching fireflies and listening to the loons call to each other across the lake. Then inside for dinner and movie followed by a comfortable night's sleep, only to awake to the same peaceful beauty the next morning. Needless to say, we enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to return again and again."

"My stay was great. Off season for a ski mountain, so the place was wonderfully quiet. The mattress was comfy, the lights in the room have a neat feature to keep you from forgetting to turn them off, internet is good (supported a conference call), dinner in the pub was excellent as were the views!"
