The view from the deck is to die for and Pirate Trap Beach right next door is one of the nicest beaches on the island. Very clean cottage with tons of beach gear and towels galore !

Blue Harbor Cottage

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely cottage. The location is stunning and the hosts, Sophia & Don, are fabulous. You won’t go wrong if you stay here, the island is extremely easy to get around with lots of activities or just chilling on the deck enjoying the view.

My family of 4 had a wonderful 5 night stay at this cottage. It's on a great spot on the island with gin-clear water and a powdery, white sand beach. The communication with Sophia was top-notch, she answered questions quickly and thoroughly. We had a little maintenance issue and it was handled right away, the same evening! Don and Sophia are the nicest hosts with true Bahamian hospitality. I look forward to hopefully visiting again soon.

Beautiful location perfect home

You cannot find a more beautiful view from a deck. The location is amazing with a swimming beach that is almost empty of people most of the time. You can see turtles and stingrays when snorkeling from the beach. The house has everything you need and is very well taken care of. The owners are helpful and we are incredibly grateful that we were able to stay in their home.

Amazing cottage & Lovely hosts!

This is an amazing cottage with unbelievable views and access (via private path) to a beautiful beach. The hosts are gracious, thoughtful, and accommodating. You couldn't ask for a better setting on Staniel Cay. You will need to rent a golf cart to enjoy this location and to get around--which was so much fun and a part of the charm of Staniel Cay! Our family greatly enjoyed our stay!

Very nice two bedroom, two bath, full kitchen home, with full wrap-around porch, the back side right on the waterfront, steps away from Pirate's Beach, usually with no one there but you and yours. Could not be more happy with the host, caretaker, property, appliances (even a washer/dryer), and support. Property owner can reserve a golf cart for your stay if you wish. Will certainly ask to stay there again.

Stunningly Beautiful

My wife and our 2 teenage boys had an amazing stay on Staniel Cay at the Harbor Blue Cottage. The house was spacious, clean, and with brand new modern appliances and air conditioning. The view from the deck of small bay off Pirates Beach was stunningly beautiful. There's a small path down to the beach itself which is semi-private and delightful. Many of the previous guests in the sign in book had been there before, and we can see why. It will be hard to go anywhere else in the Carribean after this!

Perfect location, perfect hosts!

Don and Sophia are amazing hosts! Sophia was quick to answer all my questions leading up to the trip and once arriving Don was at the airport to pick us up. We saw him throughout the week and always so friendly and informative! This house location is the BEST! We had our own beach (Pirates) right next door with snorkeling in front of the house. I have nothing but good things to say. We will definitely return.

There is not enough words to say how much our family (2 adults and 2 teens) enjoyed our stay. Sophia was full of information and helped make sure our time at Staniel Cay was perfect. Don made everything seemless once we arrived. We are grateful for both of them and their wealth of information. The rental was comfortable and provided everything we needed for a homebase during our week of adventures in the Exumas. Spectacular!

If I could give 10 stars I would. The house was clean, well equipped and has one of the best views on the island. We saw sharks and turtles swim right by the deck, found sand dollars in the bay and saw lots of fish while snorkling the rock banks. Sophia and Don were wonderful! They made sure we were all set up and taken care of, even messenging one evening to let us know of a communication outage on the island. We definitely recommend renting the golf cart with the house; it was also very well kept and the perfect island transportation. We will be back to Staniel Cay and Harbour Blue is the only place we want to stay!

Absolute Heaven

I almost hate to be honest about this amazing cottage because I'd like to keep it a secret for my family! The location of this quaint 2 bedroom/2 bath can't be beat, though you will need a golf cart to get to the grocery stores and restaurants. Your deck is perched above stunning turquoise water and you can hear the waves gently lapping and lulling you to sleep at night if you leave the sliding doors open (there are screens to prevent any bugs from entering). There's a short walkway to a beautiful little beach (Pirate Beach), but be careful, currents are very strong in between the cuts in the Exumas, like a powerful river. The best time to swim is slack tide---that's 30 minutes on either side of high and low tide. Thankfully it's pretty shallow so you can plant your feet. It's obvious by the change in water color where it's deep and where it's shallow. Haven't seen too many fish while swimming here, but I think that's got a lot to do with the strong current. There are better snorkel spots in other places around the cay. This is a peaceful paradise, perfect for unplugging and living Pura Vida. There is AC and Wi-Fi if you need it. No question, we'll we back.

We loved our first time in Staniel Cay. This house was great. The location and view are incredible. We loved the walkway down to the beach. It was our favorite beach on the island. We would recommend this place to anyone and would stay again! Communication with the managers was great as well!
