It was in a beautiful setting, with a magnificent breakfast delivered every morning to the room! Cameron, the owner/manager welcomed us and was prompt to answer any questions we had. Definitely would recommend this accommodation.

Stanford Great Getaway Farm

Our stay was excellent. Very clean and spacious. Especially good is the pro-active staff on what’s-app well beforehand, advising meal times and menu options. Also the breakfasts were outstanding. A lot of attention to detail. Some of the negatives - flies not controlled in the rooms due to the livestock and no insect spray. Also a problem with payment from Expedia.com after I had prepaid caused some confusion.

Idyllic countryside weekend!

Absolutely lovely country-side getaway. Friendly hosts. Comfortable and luxurious farmhouse suite. The bath overlooking the courtyard is serene. Dinner at the garden grill was delcious (farm grown vegetables were the highlight). Horse riding is a must-do. Massage was decent. The pool is large and clean with sheltered lounging beds alongside, perfect for relaxing. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful and perfect for long walks and wonderful scenery. It is also next door to kleinriver cheese farm which is another perk and must-do for cheese lovers. Altogether a very relaxing and comfortable stay.

The owner and restaurant staff were very nice and helpful. I didn’t like the dairy room, no privacy being next to the office. It had a view of the mountains and property over the parking area but felt the need to close the blinds so had privacy in the room. Wish the room had swapped places with the reception bathroom, then it could have looked out back and been able to open up more. The pool was great but used two pool cleaners at all times so could never take advantage of the size to swim laps. When I arrived at 5:45pm was hastily shown my room, not very welcoming or informative.

Quick stay in the area

We stopped over on our way North, and the place wS well kept. One thing to have in mind is you need to travel 10 mins by car to the neighboring town for food after 5pm. We found the beds to be very hard but that’s likely a preference thing. Also the breakfast was ok but not the best.

Impeccable accommodation

We loved the attention to detail in the rooms and the friendly but professional way everyone involved on the farm performed their duties. I would highly recommend staying a few nights here.

White Water welcome

Lovely farm stay at White Water. A warm welcome from the humans and the dogs awaited us on our arrival. The views here are truly beautiful. Its a wonderful place to kick back and relax. Wifi connectivity not great but we weren't negatively affected by this as specifically wanted to disconnect.

A gem!

Gorgeous relaxed surroundings and the Dairy Suite was very comfortable and stylish. Rob, Alex and the staff were charming and informative about activities and the local area. Delicious breakfast and dinner, using much of their tasty farm produce.
