"Mount House is located within 5 minutes walk of Leyburn centre with its shops, pubs and cafes. The house is well equipped, clean, airy and very spacious with extremely comfortable beds. We ate at the Leyburn Bolton Arms which was great and visited the Wensleydale Creamery, Hardrawforce Waterfall and Druids Temple at Ripon (max 30 mins to spend there so plan something else in the area). All in all highly recommended and we would not hesitate to return."

"The cottage is extremely well kitted out, with a top class tea room and small general store in the village, just 40 metres away. There's no garden but enough room to sit outside at the front and have an evening drink. We didn't try the pub but it's worth looking at the reviews for it 😊 Fantastic walking from the door, and if the weather is good you can even swim in the river across the fields."

"This is a remarkable historic property in the Swaledale valley, with extraordinary views. And yet the cottage has been painstakingly updated inside, with every comfort and amenity attended to. The bed is comfortable; the bath is modern; there's a fantastic wood-stove. And the owners have provided wonderful maps and suggestions for walks in the area. You're just up the hill from the Punch Bowl, a gastro-pub with good food. This is a very special place to stay."

"The Potter's House was very charming with nice original features; the bedroom was good and comfortable; the bathroom worked well though was two floors down, so interesting in the middle of the night! It sleeps 4, but we found it pretty cosy for 2. Kitchen well equipped. Fab welcome basket of bread, milk, cookies and a nice bottle of fizz. Parking was okay once we figured out where the long stay lot is - but there is free 2 hour parking in the market just across the road. So very convenient...

"What a fantastic place to stay , the cottage was perfect , very comfortable and felt just right .had everything we needed for our stay. Bed comfy and clean loved the way you slept downstairs and the views breathtaking. Lots of information and maps so perfect for us . No garden for four legged friend but walks just outside . "This is my third stay at the Indigo and it did not disappoint. My daughter is a U.S. student at Durham and so we love the proximity to her college and the town. The staff is very helpful and accommodating, and the property is clean. The bar and restaurant are both good as is the cafe in the lobby.
