This listing does not state that this hotel is situated in someone’s house and that you have to walk through the owner’s personal living space and belongings to access the room. "Excellent.Very good air conditioning. Thick double glazed windows.Room silent. Good beds and bathroom. Central location in the old town. Neighborhood clean and safe with some interesting characters on the street. Old town is halfway up the hill, walkable but some hills. Take the metro down to the waterfront where ,at Ouchy, there are old beautiful restored steamers to Montreux, Chillon Castle and Thonon-les-Bains with great views of the lake and Alps. Would definitely stay again. "
