"This is just an easy train hop from Florence. Empoli is adorable. If you would like a spot from where you can head out to anywhere in Tuscany, this is a great spot. It has a lovely balcony and Tatiana and other staff where very nice and helpful. "

"The owners were really accommodating, we had early starts everyday and they made sure we had breakfast available before we left. "We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. A few things to note, though: - the hotel is a good 15m walk from the walls of Lucca, so you need to plan your days as it’s not easy to pop back during the day, especially in the heat of August. Bike hire is extra - 35 euro a day. - the pool is lovely - comfortable and a lovely space to relax. However, it’s only open from 10am - 7pm which was a shame as it’s not possible...
