"We didn’t actually stay in the Puerta apartments, they were full so they put us in their Athos apartments. Meets the most basic of needs but could use improvements. Staff was friendly at first but then almost nonexistent after that. The top of the door handle came completely off when trying to lock it from the outside and I never got a response after telling them about the issue. "Location in old town is fantastic, if you like clubbing and partying. Room is noisy and party just below windows is till about 3 o'clock in the night.
We didn't bother much about noise though, we sleep easily.
To be fair I think the guesthouse has 3 proper rooms that would be okay if you're not scared of the noise and poor service, rooms 1, 2 and 3 looked decent enough. Unluckily we had room number 4.
We were mainly frustrated that the room they put us in was not really shown in the photos...

"This hotel was fantastic!!!! Everything from the decor, both in the common areas and rooms. There are two restaurants one in the square, and one on top of the old city wall, offering excellent food. The location is ideal, right in the heart of old town. The staff went above and beyond with absolutely everything to ensure we had the best stay.

"Beautiful property. Our room was huge, with a kitchen and washing machine. The patio was nice. The food at the restaurant was lovely and well priced for what you got.
The people were very friendly and answered our many questions.
The pool was beautiful. The only drawback was the distance from the city center but they offered rides for a fee (cheaper than taxis) and parking was free from what I understand. "
