Consistent breeze & airflow to naturally enjoy the Caribbean. 5 min walk to Honeymoon beach. Located on gorgeous Water Island. 6 minute ferry ride to St Thomas. Relax and go for walks, lounge on the large deck, or hang at the beach all day. Jump on the ferry for all the action and amenities that St Thomas offers, Open air windows, no AC. You will see geckos lizards and other harmless crawlers inside and outside, mosquitoes live here! This is a tropical environment on a tiny island not a luxury resort. If the power goes off, go to the beach! If the internet acts up, go to the beach! Feel like complaining??? You guessed it, go to the beach‼️ Affordable older home with some issues, it’s the cheapest place available. No complaining and no refunds! Go to the beach‼️

The place is clean . They give plenty of towels . You can NOT cook here . Refrigerator works fine . WiFi works most of the time . The bugs and mosquitoes are in abundance . Most of the screens are torn . When it comes to rain the roof has holes due to this 3 of the beds were wet from a short amount of rain . The host did not care . We had to check in late 1 day because of weather and host did NOT refund or give VRBO credit . We did also ask for a credit and or a refund . You can not see the ocean so it’s not good for views . Definitely NOT worth over a thousand for 4 days . The host is honest in the description it’s a place to sleep .

We were disappointed with this rental unit. Upon our evening arrival, we saw that floors, bathrooms, and countertops were clean and tidy. However, in the light of the following morning, we discovered the presence of mildew on ceilings, seat cushions, and pillows. Another issue was the lack of hot, or even lukewarm, water. Sadly, the availability of hot water was not disclosed in the VRBO description, but was disclosed on another website. As suggested by the host, we tried flipping the circuit breaker to no avail as the breaker was broken. Had we known about the water issue, we would’ve never considered this rental. It’s not our first time in the tropics, as we have stayed on Water Island multiple times in different rentals and have never encountered a rental such as this. Because of the mildew issue alone, we cannot recommend staying here.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE
We were very disappointed with this VBRO. We moved out after staying there one night. No hot water. The house was dirty. The floors were not swept. The counters and dining room tables were dirty and there was mildew on ceilings. Top sheets were wadded up in a drawer so we didn’t feel comfortable that beds were clean. Some of the amenities were not supplied as stated. The host has changed the listing since we stayed there. I have stayed at water Island 2 previous times and have Never experienced these problems at other bookings. VBRO was contacted but not getting any results.

Water Island is a secluded paradise in a tough kinda way. Wi-Fi is almost non- existent. ( We watched 1 movie 1 night & couldn’t get it to work after that). No big deal, that’s not why we came here. This is an excellent place for almost any size family. PS- make sure to rent a golf cart!
