Imagine the Caribbean 50 years ago before chain hotels and condo developments when you could stroll to the beach or explore a relatively undeveloped island on golf cart. It exists today and it’s just a 10 minute passenger ferry ride from bustling Saint Thomas. Now picture yourself heading down to Honeymoon Beach (just a 5 minute walk from the house) to chill under a palm. If you get restless, there is everything from snorkeling to pickle ball to beach tennis anchored by the famous “Dingy’s Beach Bar.” You may even catch a band Sunday afternoon. Jump on a golf cart to Heidi’s on the hill top for amazing fish tacos and gourmet Friday night dinner. Explore other beaches on the island, an abandoned fort with tunnels and turrets then pick up some necessity groceries at WI mart and shop a cute art shop with a kid friendly icy/drink stand. Need to return to reality - explore Saint Thomas by day and retreat back to our quiet 500 acre island at night.
