"The stay was always the best i prefer to stay here rather than those big expensive hotels. The staff are very nice. no harassment from concierge as i walk in the door no taxi traffic as i pull up outside. No one knocking the door telling me it's time to check out. It's easy check in I give them my credit card and identification they give me my key then that's it. No long talking. Welcome. thank you have a great stay. "
"General maintenance on the entire building is lacking. The staff—excellent second to none. I spoke to many and had good conversations with them. Great people!!"
"This was our second time staying at this hotel. It is centrally located on the main road with the jetty stop right in front. The hotel is still recovering from the hurricane, but it has come quite a long way. I hope they quickly get everything back to full operation because it is a full-service hotel with a pool on the second level, full bar, restaurant, gym, and more. We love this hotel with easy access to the taxi, water plane and ferry to other islands right on that street. The airport was close too. If you get a balcony with ocean view, you get a real treat. We highly recommend this hotel. Shopping is right at the center of it all. You can walk to many sites that are right there on the main street or two blocks away. This is worth staying for all of the conveniences it offers. A grocery store is right up the street, and it served hot meal buffet daily. There is a great restaurant just in walking distance. You will LOVE IT!"
"The hill pool was great. The Margaritaville restaurant was the only choice other than coffee shop on property and it was devoid of local options. The menu is great for US but not why I came to St. Thomas. There were some fantastic local food at Cochi beach that was walkable distance."
"The staff went above and beyond. The property is being renovated which is said might take 2 years but it is quiet. The grounds are beautiful. They have golf carts to get you to your room, front desk, pool, restaurant and parking. They have a pool bar with restaurant, a restaurant and a small cafe which has staples to buy. There is an onsite area to get a taxi but highly recommend renting a jeep to get around the island. About 8 min drive to Cruz bay with plenty of restaurants and shopping. Just be aware September to November a lot of restaurants and businesses shut down on the island. But it is still a great time to go because it is not busy at all! Very relaxing"
Buoy Haus Beach Resort St. Thomas, Autograph Collection
10/10 Excellent
"My goodness, where do I start?
Lia (Resort Host), Kristal (Event Coordinator Manager),Tyeisha (Check In), Katelyn (Bar Tender), Brandon (Red Hospitality Transportation), and a host of other staff members were fantastic!! They made our 25th wedding anniversary perfect. There were so many hiccups with our flight that caused a domino effect of issues, but the staff 100% fixed all issues that arose. The room, grounds, restaurants, staff, and lobby were superb. The private beach was clean, and relaxing. We also had access to the Westin hotel next door with free shuttle to and from. I will definitely be back with my family.
Keep doing a great job Buoy Haus!!
Thank you so much for all that you did to make our Silver Jubilee a memorable one. "
