Great, but did have a major problem

The property manager was adequately helpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

We loved this unit! Great open floor plan, nice master bedroom with view of pond and palm trees. Some of the kitchen items should be updated- pans with scratches and 2 electric tea kettles but couldn’t use either one because grimy and rusty inside. The one major problem we had was our last night there we came back after being out for the day and there were a couple hundred bees all in the master bedroom!! Someone must have had a nearby unit sprayed and there’s obviously a hole or something in the unit that needs to be repaired because all the bees came into our unit! The most disappointing part was how the issue was handled- the rental agency didn’t offer to put us up in a hotel even though they had no other units for us to stay in. Also, if we chose to stay in the unit we’d have to stay in the guest bedroom that has 2 small uncomfortable twin beds and they’d still charge us for that night even though we wouldn’t be able to stay in the master bedroom which is what we signed up for and were paying for! So the response to the problem was unfortunate- we had to find our own place to stay and they said only then would they not charge us. Not great customer service there. Otherwise, really enjoyed the actual unit and location and surrounding activities.
