Nice room, with a minor concern
This place is very beautiful and love it. But one issue is the tub, the floor in the tub has no grip, making it easy to slip in, it doesn’t feel safe. Thanks for asking.

Traffic Noise Due to Proximity to Highway
Everything was great with the exception of the noise. Unfortunately, due to the proximity to the highway the traffic noise was audible while in my room. My room did face the highway. The fitness center was particularly nice for this level of hotel. My son enjoyed the included hot breakfast. Overall very nice property.

When me and my family first arrived there was a small issue with checking in but by the next morning I was quickly made whole and begin to enjoy my time in Clearwater…that was until hurricane Idalia came barreling down on us as a major hurricane!!! They closed the airport and in an instant we were stranded!! That’s when Ms Latonya and her amazing staff kicked in and immediately took excellent care of me and my family assuring us that we would be ok and would have lodging as we figured out how to get back home. Even going out of her way guiding us out of flooded Clearwater so that we could get to Orlando to catch our flight!!! Now that’s what I call hospitality at its finest!!! Definitely will be back when it’s not hurricane season lol! And i totally suggest if you want great accommodations while in the Clearwater area I definitely suggest Towneplace Suitess!! Thank you guys so much for everything!!!!

We were insulted because the receptionist never informed anyone that we had service dogs with us. We were then embarrassed, insulted and then charged a fee for our service dogs, and was berated and told we were hiding the fact that we had dogs with us. I explained to management that the receptionist gave us a magnet to put on the doorframe letting everyone know there were dogs in the room.I was never so embarrassed as I was with this hotel. Having disabilities is hard enough, I don’t need a hotel manager telling everyone about it.

Hi Kathleen, I do apologize you felt you were insulted. Down stairs in the lobby one of your dogs bark and lunged at our Housekeeping Manager, also one of housekeepers saw your other dog pee in the hallway as you were going to your room. This is why we charge the fee because we had to deep clean the hallway floor.
