Banyan House is a fully private historic guest house complex in the Uptown neighborhood of St. Petersburg. This booking includes exclusive use of the entire property, reserved solely for your group.

The complex consists of four separate apartments across two buildings, offering a total of nine bedrooms, multiple kitchens, and independent living spaces. This layout is ideal for large families, group trips, and hosted experiences where guests want to stay together while still enjoying personal space and comfort.

The main historic home is arranged as two spacious apartments, one upstairs and one downstairs. Each apartment has its own kitchen, dining area, and living space, along with abundant natural light, original wood floors, and a warm residential feel. The upstairs apartment includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms, while the downstairs apartment features two private master suites.

A separate guest cottage on the property contains two additional apartments, each with its own kitchen and living area. These units provide added flexibility for couples, VIP guests, or smaller groups within a larger gathering.

Wedding weekend

The house and bungalow behind the main house had plenty of room for our extended family. Our main complaint was that the bungalow reeked of marijuana from the previous guests. Despite opening doors and windows even on day 3, the smell was very offensive. We don’t smoke and there is a no smoking policy that clearly isn’t enforced. The living area and kitchens were spacious and well stocked. The communication with the host wasn’t great, I reached out on 2 separate occasions without a response, nothing urgent but a response would have been appreciated.
