The Good Stuff: 5 min walk to beach, a few local restaurants within walking distance were excellent. The AC worked great. The pool area is has spacious deck area and a nice covered dining area with large table and plenty of chairs, also a comfy seating area and TV.The Not-Very-Good Stuff: THIS IS A DUPLEX SETTING!! The "wing" on the right of the pic is a totally separate rental unit. Us and the people renting that unit had NO idea that this was the case! We all showed up on the same day and were shocked that we had to share the largest part of the property with strangers. Luckily we were all very cool people and made the best of the situation. If their group of 6 were outside, then our group of 8 would have no where to sit or swim and enjoy OUR family time. The kitchen was very small for a house that holds 8 people, and there was only a VERY small space for indoor eating. Upstairs sliding doors are installed backwards(no key needed to open from outside), someone could easily climb on roof and access house. Things we just found funny: The sliding doors right off the pool had pull down black-out blinds, so in order to have the other renters not see us in our living space we had to close both sides of the blinds and be in darkness. No blinds at all on the man-door that leads to the outside seating, at night they could see in. The upstairs bedroom that FACES EAST had just white blinds, be ready for that sunrise! We feel scammed. We wanted close family time, not new friends.
