The Royal Orleans is a quaint 35-unit resort condo that offers a heated pool with tables, lounge chairs and gas grill within a smoke-free tropical courtyard. The Royal Orleans also is equipped with on-site laundry. You are steps away from dining, shopping, and water sports. John's Pass, Madeira Beach, Treasure Island, Clearwater Beach and St. Pete Beach are all close by as well. The location was convenient, close to a trolley stop, restaurants and the beach. The host provided us with beach supplies, linens and even a water filter. Would love to go again soon. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Small and quaint peaceful stay

The room was the perfect size for a family of 4 with a small child & older child. The kitchen had everything we needed, tons of kids channels on tv, pool was amazing and refreshing with playground not far. Easy walk to beach and was thankful for the towels and chairs provided! Great communication with the host, she is kind and professional and helpful!

Away From The Hustle And Bustle

We enjoyed our stay the property is very well maintained the pool water was like a relaxing bath. The other guests were very friendly and helpful. We struggled with the steps as we are older and not in the best of shape, but we managed. Hopefully we can visit again soon.

Maybe I got what I paid for. But the bed was uncomfortable and the laundry is not included, but you had to find a place to get quarters to use the machines. There was nowhere to sit to eat until I found chairs in the closet that kind of fit the very small table. I was in 214 but maybe other units are nicer. The resort is doing a good job of cleaning up after the damage from the hurricane. And the pool was lovely.

Overall Nice Room/Location

Check in was easy with the door code and the kitchen was well supplied. There were extra linens for the couch. It is not a mattress though-just lays flat. It’s definitely a tight squeeze when the couch is laid out and the bathroom shower is very tiny. The sink was clogged so the water didn’t drain well in the bathroom. We appreciated that there were complimentary beach supplies in the closet such as an umbrella, boogie board and towels. It was a short walk to the beach access point and there were never a lot of people on that area of the beach. For the price and location, we did enjoy overall.

Beach & Sunsets

We enjoyed our stay in Redington Beach. The unit was very small. I would say for two people or less. The bed was not the most comfortable. Great location and a short walk to the beach which was very quiet and not many people due to mostly private homes on the beach, no resorts. Pool was heated & nice but not many lounge chairs available. There was also a nice patio area with tables/umbrellas & a grill to use. The kitchen in the unit does not have an oven, only 2 countertop burners. I felt the kitchen household items could be nicely updated. Not many dishes, I used the dishwasher everyday, wasting water. Also items I doubt anyone would use could be removed to make room for your groceries. Expired items in cupboard should be tossed out.Bathroom is very small, no room for toiletries. 2 coin operated washers & dryers available for laundry. Nice restaurants within walking distance some with early bird specials & many more a short drive away. All in all we enjoyed our visit there & the other tenants were really friendly people.

Not a place for family with kids. Sheets and pillows for sofa-bed are storaged in a dusty box under the sofa. Main bed is small, old mattress, springs sound when you seat. We did not stay the night due to the dusty conditions we found the sheets and pillows storaged with dust around; unable to accommodate our family that night; non of the sheets fitted the open full sofa. The owner/manager said that night she would consider "some source of refund." Never got back to us until today I asked if she had considered it and she covered herself refering to her "cleaning lady" defense that there were sheets available, plus with inaccurate pictures. I wouldn't do business with this person again. Awful customer service and dishonest way to let go the client. The outside of the property condition is terrible, you have to walk extremely careful on the old rotten stairs to get to the 2nd floor, and opening the door I was afraid the handle would fall on my hand, no way to securely lock the door in the inside. Not recommended for a family.

SO SMALL. There is definitely only room for two people. The shower is so small I hit my elbows on the walls trying to wash my hair. Also: there is no outdoor shower, so all of the drains were full of sand. However, the pool and beach access were very nice. I was definitely expecting a nicer place, based on the price.

Hot room with moldy musty smell

The air conditioning was terrible and everything felt wet because it never cooled. The bed, bedding,couch and pillows all smelled moldy/musty. I had to wash everything including my bags after I got home because of the smell. I brought my own pillows but had to throw them away because I couldn’t get the smell out. I will not be staying here again.

My husband and I stayed here with our 3 year old son for a long weekend. When we arrived, the place was exceptionally clean and the owners had left a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. It's pretty small, but it worked well for the three of us as a place to stay while we visited family in the area and went to the beach. It is only a short walk to the beach and parking by our room was easy. The couch opened up to a small bed that was perfect for our son, and there were a lot of sheets and blankets available. We did not fold up the murphy bed, but could have if we needed the extra space. There were a lot of beach gear, toys, towels, umbrellas, etc available in the closet for us to use. The kitchen was well stocked. We only cooked one breakfast in the room, but could have easily cooked all of our meals here if we wanted to. Redington Beach itself is not crowded, and there are stores and restaurants nearby. This was our first time visiting Redington Beach and the St Pete area. We would absolutely stay at this condo again. Thank you for the great place to stay!
