Perfect Home and Great Location

We always enjoy staying at this home for the AAC Championships. It's a short drive to the beach but is private and in a quiet neighborhood. The pool is beautiful and has all the accessories we need. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect Getaway for our Family!

This house has everything you need for a perfect stay. The beds are comfortable, kitchen is well equipped, plenty of towels and floats for the beautiful pool. Don't miss the tiki room/screened in porch. Easy walk to the Phillies stadium and short drive to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year.

Overall it was a good stay. The pool was great and it was awesome to see peacocks every morning on the front porch. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook with. The host would respond quickly when we messaged him. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe.

Excellent stay

My family and I stayed at this house for Thanksgiving. We absolutely loved it. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in a long time. Clearwater Beach is only 15 minutes away so we did that a few times. We loved waking up to Peacocks in our yard or neighbors every day. Highly recommend. If we come to this area again we would definitely book again. Brad responds very fast which was reassuring.

Just a Wonderful Vacation

My wife and I were here for the month of March.It's a nice home on a quiet street in a quiet neighborhood. We could walk to Philly games and a 15 minute drive to Blue Jay games. There is a terrific bike path where you'll see giant turtles and alligators and so many great places to eat within 10 minutes of the house. We also kayaked and did a couple of dolphin tours. One dolphin tour had an open bar! I joined a men's soft ball league that was 5 minutes from the house. My wife played pickle ball close by. So many cool dive bars in Clearwater & St Pete with terrific bands.We actually looked into booking it again for March, 2026 but some luck person beat us to it.

Wonderful house

We actually got stuck because of a hurricane and Brad was very accommodating. We were able to book another night and it was actually cheaper than listed on the site. He was great about communication as well and responded quickly. The house itself is amazing. The sun hits the back yard about 10 am in September and stays in the back yard the entire day. the pool is great. it's very quiet and peaceful in the neighborhood. house is quiet as well. every store you need is 5 minutes away.

Girls Trip Getaway

Six of us stayed here for our annual Girls Trip. The property had lots of room for all of us. The tiki patio & pool were where most of our time was spent when at the house. Was around 15-20 minute drive to Clearwater & Indian Rocks Beach. Some things in the home could use some updating. For example, the fridge had random pans in it instead of crisper drawers & the washer & dryer were very dirty. They could really use a good scrub down. Overall, enjoyed our stay though. Even with Hurricane Debbie rolling through

The home was large and spacious with an open floor plan. 5 T.V.s! Didn't think we'd use the tiki room...lol...spent hours there. Comfy and cool with the fans. The pool was amazing. The largest and deepest of any rental we've had. Brad was very responsive when contacted. A plus. Only downside, the kitchen fridge had no water or icemaker. If you're going to the beach or visiting with a cooler, pick up ice on the way in. 3 families rented homes in the area and ours was the best. Would love to go back. Thanks Brad!

Great location and Price

We loved our stay here. The home is spacious, clean, well equipped, and has fantastic outdoor spaces. The in-ground pool is spacious and includes plenty of outdoor furniture for larger groups. The landscaping is well maintained and beautiful, even at night. The screened- in Florida room is so enjoyable and free of any Florida bugs! We really liked having a grill and space to dine al fresco, relax and even catch a game on the large outdoor TV. Brad, our host, was very responsive to text messages. We have struggled with that with other short-term rental hosts who sometimes take days to answer important questions. Brad responded within 15 min each time and we appreciated his efforts to make sure that everything was going well with our stay. We also were surprised to meet the resident peacocks who roam the neighborhood. They were very entertaining and actually pretty quiet. If you're visiting the Clearwater area, I highly recommend this home!

Perfect for our family vacation

We loved the lizard lodge, it was the perfect spot for our family vacation. Our kids spent hours in the pool, and it was great to have the Florida room right there for a shaded place to hang out. The house was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Tons of seating in the living areas. There were lots of games to play in the hallway closet that we never got the chance to play because we were too busy swimming every day. The location was nice, felt like a safe neighborhood and very close to different stores and restaurants. The only thing I’d note is the master bedroom does not get as cool as the other 2 bedrooms, it’s on the other end of the house so probably a further reach for the a/c. It wasn’t unbearable or anything and there are also fans supplied in every room, but me and my husband are hot sleepers and ended up giving my teenage daughter the master so we could take the cooler room to be more comfortable. My daughter slept just fine in there. Overall we had a great experience, and would definitely recommend this place, Brad was a great host, very responsive and helpful.
